This isn’t just bait, it’s mooching bait that had bait being used for it.

Dear lord I love these bait memes.
Came expecting bait, expectations exceeded
Didn't the otter pictures get people banned or something? Wouldn't this be kind of reckless to spam the bait pictures? >_>
Harassers get off of bullying people like me. This thread is completely worthless now thanks to these bullies. Inspecting players is the #1 gateway to harassment and victims need to know when they are inspected so that they can get ready. They want to derail this thread so that victims don't dare to talk about their experience here.
The feature I am requesting is already a third party plugin so it means that people DO want it to prevent bullying. It's too bad that most victims of bullying are told to shut up so they won't request features like these openly, but I won't be silenced, because I'm a lion and I roar.
She reminds me of Venandi.
Not sure if you saw my reply near the start of the thread, but having SE install the notification of being inspected would get really spammy really quick. I had to deal with it in FF11 on their Shiva servers when I managed to make it to Jeuno for the first time. Every. 5. Seconds.

Being on a healer in the open world was rare in 11 way back then, Beastmaster even more so. I actually had to sift through their archaic system to filter out the unnecessary spam.
Out of curiosity, did you apply for a savage PF and didn't read the party info, got inspected, told that you didn't have said gear, and were booted from the party? If so you kind of brought this upon yourself. That's the kind of vibe I'm getting from your original post.
Hilarious trolling aside, this actually was a feature in FFXI where it would prompt a little emote message to you when someone inspected you.
So? Just make it a chat log option so you can turn it off. Common sense.
Also why are you even inspecting people's gear in the first place? Booting someone after inspecting their gear proves that inspection is a method of harassment, thanks for proving my point.
I wasn't inspecting others' gear, people were inspecting me. The spam in FF11 was atrocious, and I'd thought you'd actually understand what I wrote. Now I'm even more curious if you actually did indeed apply for a savage static and didn't meet the requirements and came here to vent.
No wonder your Axolotl mount rant went viral to the point of being meme'd on other platforms.
LMAOOOOOOOO oh gosh how to out yourself even further that you're trolling that's hilarious.
"Getting kicked because you don't meet the gear reqs and someone inspected you to check is harassment" oh my lord that's funny, I'm actually cracking up IRL, good job
why is this even a problem? it's virtual gear on a virtual character? i too inspect people if i like their glam to see what it is.
why do u even have to inspect random players?? Just check their parse numbers, if its not ~99th average - blacklist and move on.
No-one blacklists that strictly. Iirc anything past 80% is already drifting into critical variance anyway on most fights. (I.E. "Did you highest potency abilities get a Direct Critical under buffs? Y/N/F)
Most groups don't give a fig about parsing past "have you cleared" outside of ultimate. Anyone who is hitting greens-blues is both consistent and above average. Anyone higher is genuinely good at the game.
Gear also plays a huge factor.
This was a problem in ffxi they learned
