It matters to me since mines are all the glowy ones from the old coil raids. They go nicely with my glams.

Only the really glowy ones from Second Coil or the purple ones from the lvl 81 Dungeon. I do wish they'd add more colors. Cuz like the Samurai PvP Allagan Mask has a cool green color but I sadly can't accent it with accessories the way I can with NIN or RPR (as their masks glow in colors that match the High Allagan accessories).
Would also like an all jobs version of the PvP Allagan sneakers for Healers/Casters (As sadly only tanks can get in on that vibe due to their Alphascape shoes also lighting up that way (with DRG and other classes that share that footwear being out of luck).
You can't even see the earrings on my character unless you angle your camera up close and beneath her horns.
I mostly wear gloves so the rings and bracelets are hidden anyways.. And you can't see the necklace on most gear pieces either.
So, no. I don't really care for accessory glams.
Id like to Glamour more Necklaces, but the stupid (sometimes awesome) chest pieces block them.
Rings I can get use out of sometimes if I get gloves that enable their visibility. Some of my Healing Gloves allow it.
Not really. Most hand stuff will cover bracelets and rings. A lot of chest pieces will cover up necklaces.
They're something you gotta plan around. I don't care for jewelry, so I don't bother with them.
I coordinate my entire outfit, including my accessories, so yes I care about them a lot.
I've got a necklace and a ring, which I wear all the time for RP reasons. I've got them glammed into all of my DoW\DoM sets, but it almost hurts me, how few bodies actually allow visible neck slot! It's so rare, that I'm afraid, that they are going to follow the belts eventually. I usderstand why it might be hard to wear a ring over the combat glove, but why can't I wear a trinket over the leather jacket? Especially if that jacket has all sorts of buckles, laces and buttons anyway...
I don't like most of the earrings (especially those 1-piece "sets"), but there are few, which I use now and then.
Earrings get hidden behind my character's horns. I've never cared about an earring glam.
I've kept a necklace and bracelets I got from...I think doing the Coil? They glow...and I'm a sucker for things that glow.

tbh it really depends for me im not usually a jewelery person in this game. it bugs me that most earrings are only on one ear and not both (like normal ear piercings are). i have been using the "purgatory" items alot lately cause they fit too well into my "heavy metal goth fem roe" look. but heck anything thats dark, heavy on chains and has either black/purple or red gems are fine by me.
Generally speaking, I don't. There are a few items, like a necklace that I sort of like the look. But aside from that, I rarely glam them - unless it is with the Emperor's New Accessory to get rid of the look. Personally, there should just be an option to turn off accessories showing up, the same way we can turn off showing our weapon when sheathed.
Every toggle option needs to be tracked specially. If they could add in an extra toggle, it would be better spent on something unique than something that can already be achieved by just glamouring with the Emperor set.
Just add the Emperor jewellery to all of your glamour plates and then you won't need to do it again. Or build a plate with just the jewellery that you can apply to anything.
While I do glamour them, but I don't expect people to notice most of them.
I used to not care for the longest time, but when I really stsrted trying to get into creating good looking glamours, I was surprised by how accessories made my character look even better with them!
If Accessories had their own seperate glamour dresser, I'd have piles on top of piles of them in there. Instead, I unfortunately have to just rotate between a handful of favorites because of the current glamour dresser limit. :'3
The only accessory I really care about is earrings. Most necklaces/rings/bracelets don't show anyways, but when they do, I usually don't like how the look.
Me: No.
"people" as in "at least some people"? I'm sure yes, some people do.
I always get annoyed when they make something like Moogle Tomes an accessory item as I generally don't care for them. My left side 99% of the time is all "Emperor's New X", and the only (rare) exception is I'll sometimes let the neck piece show if I find one I like like a scarf or something and it fits a glam. 99 times out of 100, you can't even see them or the bangles anyway, and irl and in games I tend not to like rings/stuff on my fingers OR earrings at all, especially on a male (which I and my character both are)
Some people absolutely love them, and more power to them, though. But I'm not one of them, personally.
I don't mind that they're often accessories but I do mind that 90% of level 1 glamour accessories are themed on their set of cute mascot creatures and not just pretty jewellery. I've never bothered going for the 100-token items because they're created on the expectation you'll get excited about things with Namazu or Mameshiba on them.
At the same time, we get the level 1 scaling pre-order earring that you wear until an extremely high level, and which can only be glamoured with level 1 items, so you have the basic gold earrings, the mascots, some flowers and the PVP diamond-shaped ones and that's it unless you like the still-limited range from the cash shop. You can't even get plain silver earrings because those are at level 20ish.
I glamour with the Menphina's earring for combat and triteleia earrings for crafters and gathers.
I use one neckpiece and two earrings, but the neckpiece is story related (the red bill scarf) so I'm glad its a thing. And in the glam I use it in it really does stand out. But earrings really depend on how flashy they are and also what race you are. Miqo's earrings are always gonna show up more cus of the ears being on top of their head and not hidden by hairstyle, for example. But I do definitely care about the few I've chosen to use, despite those issues.
IMO the issue with glamour accessories is there's so much hand, chest, and head gear that covers up your accessories completely making the glamour pointless.
Yes, and now the answer is longer than ten letters
Yes. Especially if I'm in a cutscene and I didn't glam a ring and it sticks out like a sore thumb the entire time.
I also need to make sure accessories match my glam aesthetic and color wise.
You do not deserve to call yourself a glamourer if you do not pay attention to accessories.
