Go get the island sanctuary mounts and the mog station mounts if you want easy cute mounts then. I hate when a mount I like is behind tough content. But if it's really worth it to me? I do the content. Get over yourself.

They did have Axolotl creatures in Elpis, though, which is where the initial raid starts up. It's not as big a stretch as one might think.

Completing challenging content deserves desirable rewards. Cute rewards. This isn't a micro-transaction game wherein time, effort, and skill can be bypassed by throwing money at it.

I know right? It's like bro wants ffxiv to be a KMMO with a predatory cash shop or something. You want that mount? Hop on in PF/Find a static and go raid. Most of the "cool" (I that word in a personal sense. Some mounts are and aren't cool to others.) shit in this game is locked behind content you have to do for a couple of weeks anyways. Sucks that its stuck behind something YOU don't like doing but it doesn't mean it should change because YOU don't doing raiding because that's YOUR personal preference.

My only issue here is that why is it an Axolotl. I don't wanna bust my ass grinding P12 just to get an... axolotl. It would have been more appropriate if we got a floating castle, or a giant moth, or anything scary. Just to have the same theme as the previous expansion's final tier rewards.

It's allowed by devs to offer gil for clear carries, you can buy your clear and get your mount in a few weeks without even doing savage. Go concern yourself with actual issues.

Stop being so self centered and consider how many people you spoil. You aren't entitled to every rewards in the game if you don't like playing the content devs offer.
