Ifrit extreme? No thanks.
I dont have a problem with not getting it done in one day. What i do have a problem with is having content that requires an almost specific setup that takes 20 minutes to do perfect and 15 min cooldown per run, for maybe 1 seal out of 8 people. Bad system is bad.
the only thing "extreme" about Ifrit, is beating the damn cracks with lag. I guess now you'll die from cracks before you even see them at all. EXTREME NINJA CRACKS!
I'm quite sure Ifrit extreme won't really drop anything, it's simply a requirement for your relic.
Your welcome :) i hope it was helpful you complaining about d/c but like really you should know there always issue and too 2.0 stop complaining i know we paying for the game but sadly noting they can do with the shit ass engine they have.
The only thing that i want to understand is why do people d/c and they fix d/c issue but so far never had this d/c issue? the only time i had d/c issue was few months of release. I mean could the d/c be,also issue with people ISP and the shit servers SE got?
So does ifrit extreme give extreme ifrit drops?
Read the bold text starloard.

[dev1445] The concluding part of the quest “A Relic Reborn” has been added.
* This repeatable quest is necessary to obtain special job-specific weaponry, and will require a great deal of time and dedication to complete.
Based on the above addition, the following adjustments have been made:
New treasure chests have been added to Dzemael Darkhold.
Monsters in certain behests now drop new items.
* These items can be obtained regardless of quest acceptance.
New rewards have been added for high-level caravan escort missions.
New faction leves have been added.
A more difficult battle against Ifrit, fought in the Bowl of Embers (Extreme), has been added.
* In order to gain access to the Bowl of Embers (Extreme), you must have accepted the quest “A Relic Reborn” and fulfilled certain conditions. Furthermore, only parties consisting of eight Disciples of War or Magic of level 50 or higher will be permitted to
^ Your face is a syntax D=
That's nothing new. Relics, Mythics and I think Empys were all just recycled content as well. (Not 100% sure on empy, I quit before their release.)
Think about it though. If they made unique content specifically for relics then 95% of the community would be cut out of it, which would cause a shit storm here. There's a reason that recycling content is how they're handling relic quests, yet again.

level cap raise inc.
Well sorta but we getnew faction leves o/
It worse than I originally thought though, thinking that even after Ifrit you have to get special items from possible Faction bosses and other stuff, then have to craft the relic, wonder if you need to triple meld that or something lol.
Considering the stats they truly are not worth the effort.
Dude Ill post it one more time.

Here's a question: If the primals are supposed to go open-world in 2.0... what's up with this? Will we still be able to go back and do the instanced battles in addition to those?
So the weapons aren't limited-time? I've been very confused about whether or not those are going away -- so many contradictory clues.
yeah after seeing this and knowing primals will be open world will this stuff still be in the game at 2.0? o.O
I assume they will be keeping the instance aswell as the open world version.
Although this does go against the whole 1 Primal per world, but I guess an instance is an instance (how many Ifrits are killed each day) :P
I doubt it took much work to make a hard mode of Ifrit, just increase stats, damage and HP.
95% of the people in XI did Dynamis for the AF, not the weapons. Likewise, 95% of the people doing Nyzul were doing it for the unique weapon skills and/or gear drops.
I suppose you also think Einherjar, Salvage and AU Kings were just for Mythics too? Because you needed stuff from all of those to finish the weapons.
It's all recycled content.
I'm not a fan of the open world Primal summoning >< not at all.
Alot don't have this issue, I know I don't. The only time I've ever crashed in XIV post Alpha/Beta was zoning into Ul'dah during peak and it crashes trying to load people, however it has been proven it is indeed related to your PC setup, since even if someone feels they have a great computer for this, a lot of issues are still hardware related.
While XIV is still largely unoptimized, I noticed playing this on my laptop it takes quite a bit of time to load on start on/zoning, but on my PC it's no more than a 5 seconds at worst, so graphical lag is still the main d/c culprit since it freaks DirectX out.
