enable mounts in cities

I've seen pics of WoW and other games where you can use mounts in cities and it's way too much. Just so much clutter and crowding.

People in here against it cause they have no mounts to show off :v)

I'll happily take the pvp sprint in cities. Just no mounts.

Nah cities especially Lima are already a cluster of a mess with crowds afk in groups last thing we need are them being afk with huge mounts in groups.

All the cities could use a new zone. The new zone could allow mounts if it is just about hanging out. If it is moving faster as long as pc is decent and connection is god aetherytes are fine.

making the strider boots effect just standard for everyone would probably be my solution.

Considering it was a 1.0 launch exclusive item for registering your ffxi account and not everyone that did it even got them somehow...
Not an effect that needs to be protected especially since the boots themselves are a unique glamour item for those that have it anyways

We pretty much seen what that would be like in Idyllshire during HW. Yeah, No mounts in cities lol.

If the reasoning is to increase mobility inside Cities/Sanctuaries, why not just

• Increase Sprint's Speed-buff
• Increase Sprint's duration
• Decrease Sprint's Cooldown-timer

Inside Cities and Sanctuaries that is, or some of the above mentioned suggestions or all of it instead of enabling the mount.

If its about just showing off your mount? just no... Enough places to do that.
