They seem to be kind of locked into having designated "event starter" NPCs. Even if you're just going to talk to them for five seconds before they send you to talk to the actual protagonists for the year, they still have to be in there.

Yeah the only seasonal that tends to change it's host is Heavnsturn. Since that is tied to the the Chinese Zodiac.

Love these rewards. Pa-paya is a song chronically stuck in my head so I'm looking forward to playing it at will in-game. I heard the Tonberry outfits are dyeable, so it's going to be fun to douse it in pink dye and having it on my character.

Hoping they add the Frighten emote ASAP in Portraits poses once it's out.

I am very hype. I love Tonberries.

I like the rewards, especially that the tonberry one is not a one piece costume. So at least some parts can be used for other glamour later.
