Criterion does have a dungeon part though before and after the first boss. It's not much but you have to pay attention to patrols and manage very hard hitting mobs in a specific order, and it's arguably the most difficult part in the savage version. (I never completed Criterion Savage though so I could be wrong about that last part)

The second trash in particular shows interesting potential that they could explore in future instances of Criterion, so I wouldn't write off the entire content as just 3 bosses stringed together.

Despite the two massive bait-posters being here at the very start they do have at least one valid point... it is kind of a bummer we didn't get a new adventuring foray area like Eureka or Save the Queen.

The exploratory zones, the 48man raids that come with them, the casual grind content with rewards... honestly I've loved them all and was super bummed out we weren't getting another one in Endwalker. I hope we get one in 7.0 or I am going to be rather disappointing. But I guess that is more of a niche view in the community since I hear a lot of people say they hated the exploratory missions...
