Hell, if you're a male Viera
Hah, this thread's just the laugh I needed today.
Ah, aveyond is jealous, no maidens unlike Anden :)
Fascinating. However did you see that Buuz? Like that looked AMAZING! This is next gen stuff and yet it is happening RIGHT NOW! Do you think they are hinting at the new poster job for 7.0? CULINARIAN!?!?!?!?! MY SKILLET OF JUSTICE WILL SIZZLE OUT THE FOUL BURNT TASTE OF EVIL!
Found a preview image for the 7.0 poster. Looks pretty epic, not gonna lie.

Got you covered.
..you never did the Pixie dailies?Quote:
..the dude herds sheep. Seriously?
..you dont remember doing one where the pixie told you of a shepherd that loved his flock so much, in order to save him they turned him into leafman? That was back in SHADOWBRINGERS and you never did it or dont remember?
Seriously?
His main problem this time isn't that Anden is a shepherd, it's that he's a male viera.
For some reasons it's an issue despite the numerous viera blending everywhere in Norvrandt, including Eulmore where they definitely aren't warriors.
He told himself in his post that he don't even care about the custom deliveries in the first place.

We had a thread a while back at the start of Shadowbringers asking why male Viera would leave the forest..I remember one of my posts saying the current situation was more than enough reason.Quote:

*sigh*
There is no law that says they have to stay in the forest.Quote:
Viera laws just don’t matter anymore.
Custom and tradition are not law. Times and circumstances change when there is cause. Especially now when the Light is gone, the Lightwardens are dead, the sin eaters are now more or less a mop up operation and no real threat to anyone...male viera are, like their maternal counterparts, venturing into the world.Quote:
. Their society is purely matriarchal, and males of age are seldom, if ever, found within the bounds of any village. They instead serve as protectors of the wood from the shadows, that no evil may ever encroach on their sacred lands.
Custom is discarded when other needs necessitate change, I see no reason why this should be any different. I have searched and I cannot find a single "law" regarding male viera that says they cant come into the village, so, where did you get the idea there was one?
OkayQuote:
Voeburt was also a kingdom of the First’s equivalent of Au Ra and Roegadyn. Would it not have been more appropriate for something akin to the Myths femroe to show up there instead of embarrassing male Viera further than they already have been with the Starlight Celebration quests?
Against my entire better judgement..the Twelve know I am going to be SO sorry for asking this because I am sure Im not going to like the answer....but.... ( feels the beginnings of a massive headache)..JUST WHAT was your beef with Starlight?
P.S if any of you have any spare Panadol, send me a few can you? Im beginning to think i will need them..............

I have rolled my eyes a bit with so many events recently involving male vieras, but more from how predictable it is. Then again it’s not like it really makes any difference - I’m sure I’d feel exactly the same if it were all the only canon race, lalafells. Possibly more annoyed because they’re harder to click on.
It was the same when hrothgar and female viera released. We had the gunbreaker quests, bozja, the alliance raids and other quests just suddenly making them exist. But they do quickly explain it and where they came from suddenly and they don't pretend that many of their kind are in eorzea.
Herdin sheep is good work. Simple, but good work.
source =/= first
viera =/= viis

I never understood why anyone would laugh at people with “simple” jobs, I say “simple” but most of them are harder than we can imagine.
To me the way we treat people says a lot about us. If someone laughs at the janitor or the waiter, then bye bye sunshine, enjoy dying surrounded by people who were only there for what you leave them when you’re gone.
Point stands, Anden hotter than a douchebag in a sports car.
Which is how Shepherds are talked about in a lot of old text as apart of society that tended to be looked down on just because they were seen as rough but not one you'd take home to mom cause they would spend many a night outdoors. And yet everyone needs and or loves the things a sheep or goat can provide.
