Because it's not the maintenance for FFXIV, it's the maintenance for SE account system.

Oh? Discussing about the best game on PS1 are we? *cracks knuckles and prepares for a fight*
That would obviously be Chrono Cross!
Now bring it on people!
YAY! Ty for saying PS1 games *has some more things to do*
Metal Gear Solid.
The gauntlet has been thrown
Better make that 12 hour maintenance. They just extended it..lol better be one epic update.
It's funny, how I just realize with this topic that most of my best games were on PS1. And I barely have any on the current gen consoles that could topple them. What has this age come to...Oh right it's the age of FPS apparantly *stares at the latest E3...*
In any case, lots of great titles in this thread. Suikoden 2 and MGS. All are gems.
I'm actually not looking forward to All Stars at all... But I'm glad to see he's been highlighted in some way. I got the PS2 game used quite a while ago and I keep it, and a lot of other games I've collected, stored in a nice long list~. Speaking of, I should play half of those games.
the first Micro Machines on N64, and SEGA, that game just rocked.
...SEGA!!!!!
@Jokerz; I hadn't seen it in a looong time but when you mentioned MGS I couldn't help but think of it! haha
Current-gen game worth playing? Depends on your slice of pie [aka your tastes], but for the platformer enthusiast, I recommend Rayman Origins.
My favorite was Monster Rancher 2, put waaaaaay too many hours into that game.
I'll admit that there are good games on the PS3(uncharted, bayonetta, and so on). But not one makes me want to reach out again and replay it. Or gives me this warm fuzzy feeling by simply thinking about it. Ok, I'll still play bayonetta again because it was a fun game.
@Irina: CRAAAAB BAAAATLLLE!!!!! I remember seeing that movie ages ago at the same time as Metal Gear awesome from egoraptor. The english voice actor for Snake even imitated the Crab battle shout during an interview way back upon request. It was funny that he knew that video as well.
They extended maintenance. Refreshed lodestone with about 15 minutes to go before they were orginally going to be available again.
I think a lot of games these days focus to much on graphics x.x Graphics improve significantly...but I find storylines to be particualrily lacking:/
I do get a fuzzy feeling from bioshock tho for some reason, and I liked last Odyssey for the 360 a lot. Also loved the Devil May Cry series with a passion ^^
2 hour extension. lol
Ummm....the single greatest game (and series) not only applies to the PS1, but to many other systems as well.
Harvest Moon.
Yeah, it's nice to see he won't be forgotten. I'm hoping this means we'll be seeing more of that series in the near future. Something beyond a simple PSP port.
I was a huge SSB fan up until Brawl, so that really excited me. I can see why some people wouldn't care for it though.
Also, man, I had just gotten it out of my head.
Good series, but the games are so hit or miss. It seems like they either do everything really well or really poorly. Just my opinion.
Red's story made that game great. Really don't remember much aside from that.
For N64 there was Conkers Bad Fur Day....
now you can connect to? Not me
they said that the maintenance lasted up to 7.00
:(
Oh man, good times. That said, brawl wasn't as much my cup of tea as I hoped it would -- too floaty and bleh. I think my friends spoiled me with too much melee. But All Stars seems like a badly worked version of brawl, imo.
...with 3 hit combos that 'cause knockdown... and have a life bar... Ugh, I don't even know what to even say. Only thing I like are the inclusion of Parappa and Big Daddy.
nooo its not until 2 am now ; ; oh well I'm not gonna sleep anyways.
