The 4 Million MGP mount the "Blackjack" Airship is not worth the price

I hardly ever have passengers on my multi seat mounts either. the empty seats just remind me of the friends I don't have... >.> Especially my empty space whale...

That said I still think the final Nier raid should have given us the flying building as a 24 seat mount... lol

I was more hoping for the flight units 2P/B and 9S use. I also find it weird the pod mount was relegated to the Gold Saucer.

I think it is a bit small. We have the Chocobo carriage which proves that we can have a proper airship with a ballon and a gondola sized for 4 people.

The Black Jack... well. At least I can imagine that my Lalafall fits in the gondola underneath - lying down.


But the best part about this mount is that I am no longer MGP capped and can spend my time in the Gold Saucer again. We really need an MGP sink.

hmm... but if it were to scale... the actual blackjack would be huge since it had an actual casino and stuff inside it.

I had the MGP so I bought it. I think it looks fantastic, and being a 4 seater is all the better. That being said, I agree wholeheartedly that I was disappointed it did not play the Blackjack's theme song from FF6. I hope that, if possible, this can be changed!

PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE Give this mount the OST it deserves. I was looking forward to this one, but the fact that it doesn't play the Blackjack theme or even Setzer's OST was very disappointing (Especially considering the investment for those who have to start from scratch). They could have just ripped it from the FFVI pixel remaster. It is SE's IP after all...

And while we're on the subject, if we're not going to get another Falcon mount similar to the Blackjack's scale, then make the current Falcon mount play "Searching for Friends."

My disappointment that it does not play Blackjack theme from VI is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

Flight units would be cool. Gold saucer as location is weird but historically alliance raids have never given access to mounts. So it would have been weird in some way regardless.

I am still a bit salty that they said, "Nier mount" and that it would be easy, as it was already in the game.

... and we all went, "Flight unit" ... and it was the pod.

... and the pod has the wrong summoning sound. It's displayed as the "key" but it makes the default "horn".

Im hoping if we complain enough they could patch the song in but I doubt it. Such wasted potential

Im another in the camp of happy to buy it. Ive been MGP capped for over a year, and i cant enjoy saucer content when im capped. Psychologically i just cant enjoy it. So spending 4 mil means that i get the Gold Saucer back as a side thing to do during my playtime, and unlike the far too cheap pod i get to keep it as side content for awhile. Im not saying id be upset if they switched the mount music - i encourage it. But while i could be happier, i am happy with what i got.

Yeah it is kind of a lot. I would have dig for it, but actually no showing the 4 occupants is kind of a let down for me. Anyways, this is probably targeted to people that play a lot of gold saucer games (not me lol, i have like 500k).

I think i might try to get it, but there are other mounts that I prefer to grind (the tank one)

Best way to get the MGP without staying in the GS for long periods of time is the daily mini-cactpot, the weekly cactpot, and the weekly fashion report(infographic gets posted on Reddit Fridays). And those tend to take no more than 5-10min...so while in queue you can do most of it if you're going as DPS.

100k a week without trying. 10 mins a week.

Just play the game.

And if you have jackpot in the FC or actually interact with your grand company squad you can do a batch of those things (mini cactpot, jumbo cactpot, fashion report) and still have time to do a few other MGP related things on a single bonus card.

Seriously. I know those of us who are MGP capped (or were til yesterday, at least) are an incredibly small minority, but it would still be nice if there was SOMETHING ongoing to spend MGP on. Would it kill them let us buy rare dyes for 120k a pop, or something?

Blackjack airship mount doesn't look that great in the video. I sure won't waste 4mil mgp on it.

The car is also locked behind a temporary event. A new player can't just grind for it, they have to wait and hope that the event comes around again.

Fashion report, every week for 67 weeks will earn you 4M MGP.

That's more than year, you may as well just wait for the event unless your going to sit at Gold Saucer and do events non stop to speed that up.

You can bolster that with Wondrous Tails rewards. 1 line nets you a 30k MGP token. I forget what 2 line rewards. I think it's like 5 or 10 tokens, but I've only gotten 2 lines like once since I started playing.

2 lines is 100 thousand(tokens are worth 50k * 2)
3 lines is 1 million(50k tokens * 20).

Hmmmm, I could have sworn the ones from Wondrous Tails were only 30k. The tokens from each moogle tome event are 50k each I know that.

Only the first one is. The tokens from lines 2 and 3 are both 50k each. Look it up if you doubt me :/

Anything that can be bought with a fake currency earned in game is way better than anything bought with real money on Mogstation to me.
