I read the OP and must say that I am really impressed with this idea...only browsed a few of the replies, but my question is...why have difficulty levels in addition to the chocobo lvls...if this is a mini and it's meant to appeal to everyone who plays then I think the difficulty in obtaining rare items should depend on how you raise you chocobo and where you do the digging...feeding certain foods to raise certain stats over another. Remember this game is going to marketed as mass appeal...we want everyone to get in on the fun, especially with mini-games. Nonetheless, great post, great idea. Would love to see it implemented in some way or another.
