Not 'no-one'. People with the financial ability and the right mindsets will, but a vast majority will drop. People wouldn't pay a game of this standards, as people will compromise their paid expense for the reward and value of such an expense, and right now, FFXIV is sub-par.

Oh, really? Sorry I missed that part, well if that so.. then we should also see many more people coming to the game via PS3 console soon too. ^^ Congrat!! SE. I feel like this game will be popular soon unlike what I heard at the start that it sucks.. and people turn their back on this game.

We will see about this... but for me I have no problems paying the monthly fees for the game I play and really enjoy it. I think it is fair enough, nothing in this world comes for free. People can complain many bad things about FFXIV being sub-par, but I am sure many will cry if SE absolutely took this game out of the market and force you all back to play FFXI again.

lol, you people are mental! - It is still the same game you played 2 weeks ago...

I wonder how long it will take for people to realize that nothing has actually changed and the leves, crafting and grinding are still boring and the game has a huge hole where the content should be.

Don't get me wrong, it will be fun to log on and kill a few mobs and craft a few crafts at some point during the weekend, but to be completely honest, I am not sure where this hype that you all seem to share come from... I had it with FFXI, because in that I actually had real goals that I was eager to get to but in FFXIV there aren't any yet.

Agreed. i dunno why im so excited to play the game again, but i am, so ill just go with it.
Although its not just the game, people have friends on here they look forward to talking to again :D

This is the exact same reason why we just can't wait, who doesn't actually enjoy this game? I do for one at least :P Im no hardcore gaming, but just relaxing to this game is kinda nice, it got a very good atmosphere, and it is starting to get the final fantasy feel to :) Only thing we need is some mini-games to do while we wait for more content :D 10 minutes left! ^^

The servers go live exactly at the time I normally get home from work. But I've scheduled to get off early today, so hopefully it'll be up when I get home. (Yes, I did schedule time off work in hopes of playing a game.)
