Makes sense but also kinda sad we'll never get to see (Hard) versions of dungeons ever again. Not because they were necessarily hard but because I really enjoyed the continued stories and added context with a lot of old locales.

My favorite being Hullbreaker Isle and Hullbreaker Isle Hard. The place started out as this uncharted island holding Mistbeard's lost treasures and in Hard it became the training ground for the Maelstrom with Eynzahr (Mistbeard) being the last boss.

I wish they at least reconsider their stance on dungeons because I think they had a good thing going with reusing assets to make something unique and interesting.

Have yo agree, I miss the hard mode dungeons. Even when I was raiding in 4.X, my favorite part of the game was dungeons. I do understand why they are making less of them and how they can get boring, and I myself find I am less drawn to running them than I used to be in the past. That being said, Heavensward and Stormblood had some banger hard mode dungeons and I mourn the lost of them ever being a thing again. Gubal Hard, Hullbreaker Hard and Fractal Hard are genuinely some of my favorite dungeons in the game.

I remember people here on the forum saying that Enshroud would be specific to each race. Sweet mistake, they made one just for Hyur and copied and pasted it for all the others, so that absolutely everything from the other races (even the immortal horns of the au'ra) disappear.

Yep. Reaper is unplayable due to it.

With female hrothgar being the last race/gender combo they wanted to add I really hope they circle around and fix armor and enhance customization in the character creator.

Hopefully they will finally work on that once they stop developing new races

This isn’t like World of Warcraft, where races have attributes and a unique appearances. Blizzard has 10x the assets and operating income as Square Enix. This is a much smaller company without the resources to put into these little things. They already have enough difficulty making a game with text boxes and cutscenes with nothing but nodding. The game is nine years old and Square Enix is hard at work with FFXVI. We need to be patient with them.

Helms stopped have ear guards in HW when it became more work than it was worth. Even with just cats and lalas they were already making different versions of each helm, but then the Au Ra came along with horns in all those different sizes and styles. Having to make that many variations of every helm just isn't feasible, so they stopped.
