One time password doesn't protect against phishing. Phishiers have counter measures to it.

When there is a sale on any items this is announced through the official website as well. Plus the Megashiba mount is brand new. When have you ever known SE to put a new item in their stores, that's not even out of the 'New Item" category, up on sale? Well if it is a typo they need to hire better ad management.

I got a "correction" email with the proper prices listed so it seems it was just SE screwing up. And what Arazehl said, they never give discounts on new items in the cash shop.

For some reason it still doesn't sound professional. I'm sure a company like Square Enix has their editors and someone there to approve the release of all advertisement. I'm in US and haven't receive a thing about it.

You've probably turned it off - only reason I have it turned on is that its required to get the e-mails to buy Fanfest-tickets (if thats ever gonna happen again...) and knowing myself I'll forget to turn it on again in time to get that e-mail (happend before, was a slight hassle to be able to still buy the tickets on day one).

But yeah, if you dont get these mails its most likely by choice.
