OP is in a medium arranged in a way that they have a long stretch of courtyard all to themselves from the front. They are harassing the other player about a small's rooftop that is partially hidden by the marketboard across that courtyard. That's it. Part of a rooftop. The rest of the small house is entirely out of view.

For those harassing me for having an opinion that many others share, I've reported the posts. You used to not be able to mix and match housing exteriors, for the very reasons that I've listed. People wanted the aesthetic. I can wish that didn't change, and wish that the change would be reverted. Or wish for instanced housing so that I don't have to look at it, but others can still have it: And then everyone is happy.

I haven't harassed anyone, I made a post on a forum, with an opinion. Multiple people share that opinion? I'm not surprised. I stick by my guns. I think the changes need to be reverted, and the paissa walls, carbuncle walls, moogle walls, Gingerbread walls be turned into special walls that fit the aesthetic of the housing in the game and not such a trolly, gaudy, and tacky eye sore.

I can be disheartened all I want by having no choice but to look at Shirogane houses in Ishgard out of my front door. Other people can feel sad that they have to stare at a carbuncle house, or a moogle house, or a Gingerbread house next door. Yeah, we can have opinions you don't agree with - and we don't deserve whatever this is, because we have an opinion you don't share. But kudos to the dozen people who got reported for bullying in this thread. Ridiculous.

You don't have ownership of that plot, you don't have right to change their house, why bother? Just enjoy what you see there. Be glad that you only have that view instead of others that suffered with alot of Namazu Effigy.

I love watching you just keep digging yourself a deeper hole because you didn't learn your lesson after being humiliated the first time and then try to deny and/or justify your shitty abusive behavior in-game.

Get over it and move on. Practically nobody here agrees with you not just because of the difference of opinion, but because of the shabby and uncivil way you're conducting yourself.

There has never been a time you couldn't use special housing exteriors in any ward, and Shirogane Castle Walls count as one of those. Not that there is any lore reason for a housing area made specifically for adventurers from across Eorzea to require the same drab aesthetic as the rest of the city proper.

Focus on that courtyard, I'm sure there are a lot of players who would gladly stare at any house wall--er, partial rooftop--to have that location.

You sound like an entitled "Karen" that complains about every little thing to the HOA :o

Move to plot 11 and stare at the snowy area in front of your house. No one forced you to pick that location.

We also know this is you because you've made the smart decision to out yourself on that twitter post and have made other tweets that have direct tie-ins with several characters from your Free Company.

OP failed to explore Kugane or he would know Ishgardian Elezen go there like going to Las Vegas. Now with a change of government and the eradication of the Church's doctrines, even Elezen wants a piece of Shirogane at homes since they're free to do so.

Spot on Recalcitrant, xenophobic, intrusive and entitled Elezen RP tho. 10/10 Needs a bit of derision towards the Lord Commander, but it felt authentic anyway.

They should never had designed the Shirogane Castle Walls skin to be significantly taller than any other housing skin combination (though the new Highland roofs come close to matching them).

Fortunately my personal and my FC plots are in positions where no neighboring plot can block the view I'm interested in regardless of skin used.

I don't know the truth of the claims that you've been bullying others so I'm staying out of that particular argument.

But I can tell you that the more you keep reporting others for trivial things under false pretenses ("they're harassing/bullying me!"), the less likely GMs and moderators are going to pay attention to your tickets. Then what will you do when you have a legitimate issue that requires their assistance and you can't get a response?

Here's a truth you're neglecting to add into your post: the housing skins in your screenshot are not the Hingan exterior fixtures. They're the Shirogane Castle Walls, a specialty skin much like the Paissa, Moogle, Cafe, etc. There was never a restriction on where you could use the Shirogane Castle Walls.

Even if SE reverted the change allowing use of the district themed exterior fixtures, you'd still be starting at those Shirogane Castle Walls.

Learn to live with it. Set up your outdoor furnishings to block your view of their roofs from your house yard. Once you're standing in the common area of a ward, you have no say over what the view can be like.

My FC house is plot 11 and I love it - nothing to block my view of the entire ward when I'm sitting on the side and I'd be able to chat with anyone playing in the snowman park (sadly haven't seen anyone doing it yet - great neighborhood feeling, YoshiP).

Doubt the OP would be happy with it since it's only a small, not a medium or large.

I share a server with you. You're one of the kinds of roleplayers that drives me nuts by enforcing everyone else to do what you want them to do, any sort of lore bending you become the lore police over, and how dare anyone break your ~immersion~ by doing something that sparks joy in them. Balmung, despite being a roleplay-heavy server, is also a Legacy server, in which non-roleplayers also play on. They don't care or have to play by your rules, and if they want to have some paissa or carbuncle housing walls in Ishgard, they have every right to do so.

You ignore them. Other people have said put up housing decor outside to block that view some if it makes you shake and cry over someone wanting a specific look for their house that you don't approve of. It's the same with someone roleplaying Goku from Vana'diel chasing the 7 Dragon Balls: if you don't like it, ignore it. You have the right to do that, but you don't have the right to police what other people do with their plot of land, how they roleplay, or how they play at all on a game. If they want to be on Balmung because they were shuffled here after 1.0 to continue raiding with their group of friends but don't roleplay, you don't have a right to chase them off or tell them they can't because "Balmung is the rp server": it is first and foremost a regular server for people to play on.

I don't care if my house is an eyesore to someone who doesn't like the florist walls. I like the look of my house, and that's what matters. Having the same boring oasis skin on every house makes the wards look bland as heck, and I'm glad they opened how houses could look. Sorry you don't.

He is doing well on RP-ing as an "Ishgardian" that rejects change and want to be purist as pure as possible.
Just like one of the post here said: Like that pope who would push a child off from a high place just to keep Ishgard in its old doctrine and way.
