Mechanics people in DF can use to troll. Like click events that reset the instance if one stooge fails, or Nald'thal's balance mechanic.
The (Hard) denomination on some of those earlier primals.
Like, I understand that they're meant to communicate a step-up in terms of difficulty and that they're 8-man instead of 4-man but...it still just bugs me a bit cause Ifrit, Garuda, and Titan have base/normal 4-man versions of the trials, but then with, say, Leviathan and Ramuh you have (Hard) and (Extreme).
Something I want removed
1) Housing Demolition
2) Horribly designed shoes and boots which equals 99.8% of all current footwear
3) Lack of mods
4) Gear/Hair clipping
5) Timer on Gysahi Greens
6) Gear Repair and Teleportation fees

The inability to change class mid-battle while in the overworld.
I can't stress this enough: Dungeon queue pops up, but I can't accept because i switched to another class and the mobs won't leave me alone.

Serious answer: that one filler quest in the Ivalice raid series that has you like, wandering off to get wine for some jerk's girlfriend or whatever. Only quest in this game that's ever felt like a genuine total waste of my time, and an irritating one to boot. Could've been saved, maybe, if I had an option to pour out the wine on the obnoxious quest giver's head.
Less serious: Moogles. Banish them all.
This is hilarious to me because a lot of the people I've raided with in the past were also roleplayers. Imagine enjoying more than one thing in a video game. Inconceivable I know. :p
The block on mailing items to alts.
The playerbase is VERY diverse, catering to varied skillsets is not a major issue. There are a LOT of people who dont go beyond normal raids etc and a LOT who dont even BOTHER with it at all, they do MSQ and then go on to be craftaholics, etc afterwards.Quote:

I dont see an issue with a very easy mode for MSQ story quest content. Its story content. Solo scenario. No other players.

Rescue. I hate that ability with a passion. It essentially gives you the ability to god mode someone in a RPG.
What about players who don't always use easy/very easy?
I use them in the following:
1. I've attempted normal multiple times and I've figured out the mechanic and it's not something that I'm going to be able to suddenly improve in a short time. I will move to Easy here.
2. I've gotten through what appears to be most of the duty and I slip up and make a mistake at the end. I'm going to at least do easy to make it easier to get to the end and move on, if not very easy depending on the mechanics.
3. It's a role play instance and I've failed once. I'm not likely to play that character again any time soon so practicing until I can beat it isn't going to really help me in the long run and their skills may be different when and if we play as them again in the future. Nor will it help me learn the class if I end up liking the playstyle. I'll usually very easy in this instance.
And while I do play Black Mage, I'm not an ice mage.
Your assumption that all players who use those difficulties play with those playstyles is off.
As for something I'd like removed from the game: anything in MSQ group content where the failure of one person to do one mechanic one time means a wipe. Such as quick time events that wipe the party if even just one person fails it. It's MSQ content and a troll could be prohibiting the progression of a sprout and since we can't see who did it, the troll gets away with it unless they brag about it chat. I'm fine with solo duties having such mechanics as then your failure only hinders your progress. Also fine with it in optional content, especially the harder variety.
Unspoiled gathering nodes. You can keep the timers to limit node respawns if you must, but I don't like that the node disappears if you don't get it in time.
Hey, if they want to reduce button bloat, here's a perfect candidate. Just have a trait that evolves Cure 1 into Cure 2, like with the Stone spells.
If we're going to talk about reducing bloat can we please discuss BLM and the fact that instead of evolving certain fire/ice spells into newer ones later on they essentially just give you completely new spells? Plus you also have Transpose to add to that, so unless you intend on containing your BLM play to only end game, you have a lot of stuff on your bar that may or may not be useless.

As for my own, for the love of all that's holy, remove the 100+ undyeable flower corsages that we have in game and convert each base-style to a dyeable version. GEEZUS.

Role restrictions on Glamour..
1- Posiotionals.
A: they account for less than 1% of your dps so they don't feel rewarding to land.. ninja ignoring flank on armor crush loses a whole 2 potency per second on dps. monk ignoring demolish loses roughly 3 potency per second. sam and drg are about the same as well. and
B: because so many bosses don't even have them recently, they're pretty much obselete anyway.
2- Scripted encounters:
The cause of so many of the games issues is how scripted and predictable encounters are.. healing/ tanking is seen as boring cos the incoming damage is predictable. one reaid wide eveery minute... and thus they haven othing to do but spam 1 1 1 1 1 1
3- Vulnerability stacks:
At least in the current form. it doesnt punish the player who makes the mistakes it punishes the healers. they should make those debuff s criple the player so instead of now you take 10% more damage and the healers have to work harder. now its you dela 10% less damage. 20% 30% depending on how many stacks you eat..
4- The focus on dps and 2 minute damage buffs.
bring back utility, crowd control, actual resource management other than build some guage press a button..

Other things I would like removed: RMT, People who has paid their clears in whatever Legend based thing, it shows that they are not even close.
Removal of areas and them all merged into one gigantic map for each Region, Shroud, Thanalan... etc... and on top of that remove the housing wards... but let people set up houses in the wild on none contested areas.... and if enough houses at whatever location, be able to turn it into a city, that eventually would be upgraded to have an aetheryte... aetheryte traveling will make getting out in the wild faster.
Remove flying in multiple areas, it makes little to no sense, base speed on ground if have wings would go 25% slower on ground if no wings 25% slower in air... the Chocobos the only exception.
Rescue, bots and the "limited" part of limited jobs.
