Seat of Sacrifice

I was confused at first because for some reason I thought Seat of Sacrifice was Vauthry.

But yeah, I think people need to stop being so afraid of dying in the game.
It's okay to wipe a couple of times I don't think it's fun at all when everything is so easy you can just one shot it right away with new people.

When you can do an entire trial with no problem until you reach a point where you'll just die (and in this case take the entire group to the grave with you) without knowledge gained outside the game, it's less about "afraid of dying" and more about not wanting to get sucker punched and then pointed and laughed at by the devs.

How do you think that learning fights for the first time works tho?
I think that if you don't go and look up guides then yeah it's perfectly fine to wipe to mechanics in a new fight a couple of times and having to figure it out as a group.
That was how it was on day 1 in EW too and every other expansion.

People still do this in dungeons too, the last one in the EW MSQ comes to mind.
The game does tell you what to do and gives you plenty of hints, but a lot of people will then die and complain that the game is too hard.
I think that dying is fine that's how you learn you fail and then figure it out and correct the issue.
Too many fights in the game already are so easy and forgiving that you never end up in a situation where that's even necessary.

That dungeon in fact have had multiple threads made on this forum about it from people saying it's too hard and even impossible.
But every mechanic has a dead giveaway of what's going to happen and even debuff icons you can read if you're paying attention.
Even in the very few scenarios when this isn't the case I still think it's fine ( like the Tank LB's ).
There's still visual hints but if you don't catch unto it or doubt and wipe because of it then it's fine, learn and adapt.

All of the knowledge originally comes from the game, I think people are too used to turning to guides for everything and having other people do all of the work for them.

The best extreme trial...hands down...for all time.

SE needs to "try" and dethrone it

The trial isn't difficult, it's just that the average player skill for the game is abysmally low, which in turn is a symptom of how little challenge exists in the game.

What's really special is when you get the second Endwalker trial in roulette - I've not seen that be successfully cleared in DF roulette since EW launch. (I suggest everyone do it with the available trusts instead)
