No, I love my neighbor and if he needs anything I make it for him. I see him all the time and he is active and nice I even watered his thavnarian plants. He doesn't sit around like most he plants his seeds and watches over them like a mother. I like flashy stuff I see nothing wrong in the pic

You have a flashy entrance why can't I have flashy moogle trees? you're flashy doesn't bother me and I moved the moogle trees to the front they were in front of your house. Because of your picture everyone can see I put my gil where my mouth is spent a good 10 million gil on upgrades eventhough I made most of it myself. happy happy joy joy

Lots of people want a house because it's a status symbol. Then they get it and realize they didn't really want one, had no use for it, or just don't like the system to decorate. Then they'll keep it anyway because it took so much time to get their hands on one. Tale as old as time.

You know, my favorite house that I've ever seen decorated was this one small house that only had a single Tonberry Lamp, not turned on, sitting in the middle of the basement. No other decorations, walls were all basic, even the main floor was untouched. I can't recall if the lights were dimmed or not, anymore, though.
I hope more people decorate in such a minimalist fashion.

I'm assuming you mean the 89 set? I've ran both Expert and Aglaia with it and nobody minded because... I actually know how to play my job, go figure. Much like anyone's allowed to participate in housing lottery, as long as I meet the ilvl requirements and I'm not using bad gear on purpose, I'm allowed to run content with people. Heck, I probably did better than a lot of expert tanks I've ran into on my alt that either mitigate improperly or don't even bother with mitigations.

But y'know, it doesn't matter to elitists like yourself. It's your way or the highway. I sincerely hope you do kick someone from an expert roulette for using base gear, that way the person kicked or someone with good sense in your party can report you and a GM can have a discussion with you about it.

Some people hate the namazu effigy, I love them, I have effigies out as that quest was just awesome and I smile every single time I think of it. Recall how there was the headbutt, and the book flew into the fire? Or this little guy...

But there are things I don't like - you hate namazu, I hate moogle trees. You love moogle trees, I love namazu.

When I finally won my very first small, for my FC on NA in Mist it's first position had a row of four of those and the bulbs were right at the height of my fence. Every single night there would be this blinding pink glow. I moved 2 days later as I just couldn't bear it.

I didn't complain to them, or report them, because I understood the person enjoyed the trees, likely they loved the pink colour, or the quest behind it (the only good part of that was slapping the moogles)

You can't account for people's tastes Sage. It's weird sometimes.

There's a guy 2 doors down from me who has a medium and the indoor decor is like 5 items at best.
