make sure your image is in a proper link (ends in .png .jpg .gif etc) and click on the square with a tree in it
129 when I signed up, meanwhile zero on FC plots.
41 when I last checked the small private plot I put a ticket on. FC has a better shot at the medium which was at 23 last I heard.
As of this morning, 2.5 hours before the sales period ends, the six medium plots left on Exodus look like:
Mist 1: 107
Mist 2: 90
Goblet 1: 64
Goblet 2: 62
Lavender Bed: 110
Shirogane: 182
Right now, yes. However, in cycle #1, there were lots of small plots with few bids on them on Leviathan. Larges and Mediums had dozens of bids. Smalls, maybe just a few. I think a lot of players said "go big or go home." However, they can't go home. They lost. And should have just went with the higher chance small to begin with.
Kupo, when I expire just toss me in the sea in Limsa. Oh you mean houses lol jk kupo <3
EXACTLY. I looked for a small plot with the least amount of bidders and it didn't work out like the majority of us. As least it's made my decision to unsub that much easier so I should probably be thanking SE and this stupid housing system for allowing me to save that extra $12 a month. If the new content looks promising I MAY come back and sub for a month and knock out all the patch content when the last of it comes out.
I thought that SE was different than other companies running MMOs but it seems the devs here have egos just as big and are forcing their image of how housing should be despite the player base wanting a massive change. The fact that they restricted private buyers artificially and haven't changed the rules when they said they would is the absolute last straw for me. They will eventually "open up" the FC zones after all the solo/fake FCs gobble up the easy land.
On Exodus, there are only 2 medium, personal plots left, one in Lavender Beds and one in the Goblet.
Lavender Beds currently has 123 participants and the Goblet has 66 (I'm #14 in this one).
Small on Goblet
30 so far
I gave up after seeing the obvious demand is with personal housing, while FC plots remain open still
it was 89 on the last plot i went for, im not going to bother for the next
oh wow. Lottery turnover is fast.
I checked every available for bidding for individuals plot today before trying to decide what to bid on, and it's... genuinely absurd.
Mist, Ward 20, Plot 28: 41 bids
Mist, Ward 21, Plot 16: 36 bids
Mist, Ward 21, Plot 22: 66 bids
Mist, Ward 23, Plot 58: 41 bids
The Lavender Beds, Ward 19, Plot 8: 60 bids
The Lavender Beds, Ward 19, Plot 48: 34 bids
The Lavender Beds, Ward 20, Plot 34: 38 bids
The Lavender Beds, Ward 23, Plot 60: 193 bids
The Lavender Beds, Ward 24, Plot 2: 45 bids
The Goblet, Ward 23, Plot 55: 100 bids
The Goblet, Ward 24, Plot 7: 47 bids
Shirogane, Ward 19, Plot 34: 101 bids
Even if you take out the ~300 bids from the two M plots (who are likely already people who have homes and are just trying to relocate), you're left with ~500 people bidding on the only 10 available plots for individuals. That's just an insane amount of people bidding for what amounts to essentially housing scraps, and it's only going to keep getting worse. If you include the FC only plots that have 0 bids, I could find about 27 or so plots, which would probably equalize things a little bit more; but I don't really think that's enough to alleviate the underlying issue.
Please just add more housing Wards. I know there's been a lot of hesitancy for a myriad of reasons, but there are just too many players who want housing and not nearly enough plots to even make it feel genuinely plausible to get one.
How many times does an FC plot have to go with 0 entries before it's opened up for personal buyers? Asking for a friend.
Does it need to be mentioned that if players are bidding on it, it's not your plot¿
I know, I know. I'm not trying to ruffle feathers with semantics,. I'm trying to keep player expectations down in regards to housing. If you placed a bid, go about your day normally and stop stressing about how many players bid on the same plot you did.
