Adding a bigger indicator is not a nerf. Do you know how easy it is to catch people off guard with that thing?

It kind of is a nerf, there's a decent delay between using it and being able to attack, since the LB indicator doesn't move very fast you can only really use it around where you plan to land, and where you plan to land is typically in the middle of a fight where you can get CC'd after the jump and after you become invulnerable, which would make it useless because there's this huge indicator on the ground that people are given a 1 or 2 second warning of and you can't catch people who are moving away from you
The same could be said for SAM. Looking for a small buff is just as hard if not harder to spot in the heat of battle though tbh I never had an issue seeing DRG's LB in CC, FL is a different beast but that's FL. Though the few times that I did get zan'd I didn't get angry, more so impressed they pulled it off and a reminder not to get too greedy, as it does take some skill to set it up. It's like parry baiting R1 spammers in souls games then you one shot them with a riposte.
However, some actions do need a more clear visual indicator. Like a maybe a glint in the eyes of the SAM (similar to WAR IR) when Chiten is active to be visually striking but not so obvious and not reliant for looking at buff indicators. I feel like a lot of ppl who complain about the pvp in this game are really complaining about the lack of co-ordination because a lot of skills can easily be countered by guard or another LB. You just have to time it and not do stupid things like run into a mob alone. The rework is only a week old and its too soon to nerf things but ppl in pvp still do the same thing as running solo into the enemy rather than wait a few secs to regroup and move in as a team.
Ppl just need to learn to read the momentum of a fight and not just say one skill is op just cuz you got punished for not reacting to it right.
