Lopporits - New Race

Ivalice moogles could work without making lopporits miraculously appear before you reach the moon.

I'd gladly trade Viera for them. Wish we got them instead of Viera, honestly. But as it stands we already have a rabbit race that is already horridly unfinished.

(Irony of my hrothgar being a 2nd cat isn't lost on me, I would have traded Hrothgar for Lupin though.)

I definitely kinda agree with this, the release of the new races was very rough and not handled well tbh. I WISH WE COULD GET TOYS (like in wow) that can turn us into things. I would love a toy that could turn us into a Lopporit

PSO2 took it further with things like their rappy costumes which when worn changed your characters entire appearance when equipped as a clothing item. Meaning you would participate in all activities and combat in that appearance as well.

In the case of loporrits I honestly feel like if added as a playable race they shouldn't have hairstyles. It just seems like it would detract from their aesthetic. Something I would have felt the same about if they had added the ivalician moogles.

It just wouldn't fit what loporrits are. It's impossible. A loporrit warrior of light defeats the whole concept of them being created in the first place. The whole loporrit background couldn't possibly fit at all.
It's not a matter of them needing it or not, it would just break the story completely unless they made it only unlockable after level 90, and somehow introduced fantasia into the lore oficially somehow.
The asspull would have to be huge for it to work.

Exactly, they could not be the WoL.

Loporrits are not beings that were once Ancients.

Exactly what we need. Another race after female hrothgar. I'm sure it'll be worth the even less we will all get overall (especially viera/hrothgar) for loporitts. :rolleyes:

How about a compromise? How about a "glamour" item/potion to be use only in towns, treated much like costumes during moogle events?

I don't think we'll see anymore races, except for female hrothgar, maybe.

Not really. Loporrits have apparently existed since some time near the sundering when the world was split into shards. As evidenced by 1 of them it's entirely possible for them to split off their duty as they are possessed of their own will as one of them was in the process of building their own rocket to leave the moon to go planetside. I don't see any reason for this to have not happened before and events causing memory loss which resulted in a stray loporrit becoming the warrior of light given our own character doesn't have a canon backstory either outside of possibly being a wandering adventurer suffering memory loss after carteneau.

I'd rather delete them and the hours they made us waste in EW.

You really don't know what you're asking for. The way the company is going, Loporrits will be released without hair, helmets, without the ability to edit the face, and probably only with racial clothing. If they haven't managed to fix Hrothgar and Viera so far, what tells you they'll be able to make Loporrits a decently playable race?
