FFXI is having a collab with Granblue Fantasy

The art director of Granblue (Hideo Minaba) and the OG art director of FFXIV 1.0 through HW (Akihiko Yoshida) used to work a lot together on the Ivalice and Bravely Default games so it’s no surprise they’re very similar. For a long time I even thought Akihiko Yoshida did Granblue.

Minaba got a “special thanks” credit for 1.0, for whatever that’s worth as well.

I'd rather they keep gacha games like that away from FFXIV but that's just my opinion

NGS was only big at launch when it was riding the high of the PSO2 release. Sega practically launched it unfinished while gutting PSO2 base game to the bone, making the content there also unfun and not worthwhile to do. NGS itself is an empty, empty sandbox that has no content worth staying for. the playerbase up and left, content updates are scarce and Sega puts up surveys such as, "please tell us why you aren't buying more cash shop?" at this point it's just rumoured that PSO3 is in development

that being said, I think between Sega/atlus games there are more worthwhile collabs SE could do with them than NGS. Persona, Valkyria Chronicles, to name my faves

Like for the love of god add this things to the active game. Not a dead one.

One of the higher up Granblue Devs is a huge FFXI fan (has it in their twitter handle) also laughing at all the salt in this thread. FFXI rules and I can't wait to see what it's 20th anniversary festivities are gonna be.

No one say they don't but are we in 14 not allowed? When was the last new one?

So? Re runs are not new and are as good as not a thing for older players. It's just show more that the dev team don't want to make new glams for the game.

I don't. I just started a fact. Old content is not new content. Old Collab is not new.now you can not care and it totally ok. But we deserve new glams as well.
