Home World Transfares when?

Edit: Never mind I got the separate email confirming the transfer.

I can only guess there's a lot of us spamming to move our mains, it's kinda crazy we have to spam refresh to get it to pop up. But...well I want my main at the top of my character list, so I couldn't roll and play a new alt on OCE until then! Finally got my transfer through, took me around 15 minutes of refreshing

All I've seen since about 5 mins past the start time is an error saying The Home World Transfer service is currently unavailable, or the website is undergoing maintenance.Almost 5 hours later I have no idea when it's going to be available.

When you want to transfer but your current server and server you want to go to are Congested...

Is home world transfer unavailable for aether even if you're already on aether?! I wanted to move from Gilg to Cactuar but it's not an option.. I haven't seen the notes yet so if it was mentioned I missed it :(

every server on Aether is Congested, and you cannot transfer to a congested world. never have been.

I mean I've only been playing this game since last year O_o but okay. . is it like that even during early morning hours even when it's the least amount of people on?

Ah... Road of 80. It feels so good.

Interesting that newly created characters don't have an expiration date and will keep the buff until they hit 80. You could get all Jobs to 79 first if you wanted under that buff.

This is extremely frustrating. We have friends on Sarg and Midgardsomr who want to transfer to Jenova and join our FC, but have been unable to do so due to the World Transfer service being down. Then once it’s announced, we get all excited until we find out that none of the Aether servers are available.

Why? I know for Jenova none of us have had a que longer than a minute for over 2 weeks; sometimes it’s even instant. The population has obviously calmed down a bit, and people are even leaving the server today as shown by houses going up for sale suddenly. There’s no reason to keep us closed like this; at the very least, allow Aether players to transfer between Aether servers if they wish.

It’s sad as our plan was to have them transfer so we could all build our FC together, but now that’s not looking like I will be an option any time soon.

Please change this!

Friends and I are in the same boat. We had a "static" of 5, and we were expecting to have 2 more transfer to our data center. We were excitedly waiting for transfers to come back up and SURPRISE all of Aether is off limits, hope you weren't expecting to play with friends this tier.

One of the friends purchased a few boosts and went hard getting his crafting gear pentamelded to play with us, so he feels especially burned.

Any idea on when Aether will unlock? It was not congested the night before the return of the home world transfer service and now just seems to be locked to red.

Not sure the last I checked it's been locked since well EW I'd imagine when they get new server infrastructure.

Well at least 5 of you could transfer to the other 3 if all meet up on Crystal

As someone stuck on Primal with about 15 friends on Aether, this sucks.

Please unlock Aether :(

I've been trying to transfer from Behemoth (Congested) to Famfrit (Standard) to play with my friend and for some reason Famfrit is also locked out for transfers.

Why?

because you're trying to transfer during peak playtime. the home world transfer needs to be able to log the character in pretty much immediately to work.

So if I try again at like 3 in the morning it might become available?

yeah, usually you'll want to do your transfers early morning or on a weekday midday.

SE cycles character creation restrictions every 10 minutes (excluding worlds with the Congested status). If you're unable to log in during off peak hours, keep an eye on server status during peak hours to try to catch your desired world being opened for a 10 minute window.

Ah so if if for example the server is still unavailable at 3:00AM EST if I wait till 3:10AM EST it may change?

I keep reading transfares as a transfer with a lot of trumpets and drums in a fanfare.

Just reporting back and it absolutely worked.

Waited till 3AM and servers was available for transfer.

Had to name change sadly so I lost Doctor Nick, but I just used the last name of a previous character I deleted and fused it with my current name as tribute and hence 'Nick Drakefire' was born.

After what happened in Endwalker, i'm retired anyway.

Sorry to double post, but what happened to my forum Avatar? Is this a side effect of transferring?
