Ravana is 1k+ queue wow. Decent start :) Hope more people occupy all the oceanic worlds

I need to know which server has the most English-speaking players.
I tested my pings and got decreased from 230 ms to 130 ms, that's a lot.

It seems Ravana, Sephirot and Sophia will be the three main oceanic world at the beginning. Sophia will be for RP players while Ravana and Seph for raiders etc.

Guess, I should try create new characters to test ping in combat in these 3 worlds but to think that I have to get through ARR again is just .....

They made it quite faster now to get through ARR etc. And it is actually fun to get through the story again once in a while. This game has really good stories and cutscenes :)

Kahnom, take a grizzled old veterans word for it, at almost zero ping you will LOVE IT. It will be like a whole new game.

Moving to Bismarck as soon as transfers open. Most of my FC is going to be as well, though a few are staying behind to be with the NA raiders.

Me and my sister are going to Sephirot.

Sadly, i think we'll lose the money we put into our FC house (We never bothered with personal houses, we just shared an FC house between us), but the latency is so much better (from like 300 something on tonberry to 22 on Seph) that it's worth it.

Will be nice in dungeons/raids to move with the raid and be safe and not die because latency caused the server to think I didn't move!

anyone know when the transfers will open?

Was gonna go but seems transfers are down atm. Guess they couldn't take the mass initial load coming in.

Question: I have been told ( and do NOT know if this accurate or not ) that for a home world transfer we cant be in a city as its instanced.

Anyone?

Well, I'll just make a new character then and get them to 30 for that sweet 15 days of game time.

Will they open Home World Transfer Service soon or will that take a few days so we can use it?

You can be in a city. When they say your character cannot be logged out in an instance, they're referring to instanced duties (dungeon, raid, Eureka, etc).

Keep in mind that for transfers to a new world, you DO NOT want to relinquish any house or apartment. Read the data center announcement for specifics about exceptions to the normal transfer requirements:

Yep I cleaned out my FC house and disbanded my FC, cleaned out my apartment too just waiting on the transfers to open up then i'm off to Sephirot. Disappointed that FC does not get compensated for losing their house too but not much I can do about it *shrug*

Im in the states, so Mateus is where im staying. Id move for the buffs if I wasnt afraid of the lag possibilities.

btw you can transfer your character for free to the new oceanic datacenter if you do not want to go through ARR again. I just noticed that you are a lvl 90 monk.

tomorrow Character transfers will resume and it is free to transfer to the new oceanic DC for a limited time.

I know many people are making on OCE just for the free playtime at lvl 30, some even logging in the middle of dungeons once they get it.

I rolled a character on one of those servers and did not get any of the usual stuff I get in the mail, such as veteran rewards.

I imagine because of the amount of people currently making chars and mail being sent, it may just take a while for them to deliver.

Then hit the training dummies and/or work on your reaction time with getting out of AOEs. If you wanna get better, you have everything you need to work towards it.

Ah no, I found a nice one. Seems most of the twitch streamers headed onto SephiROT is why.

Also, that's a weak meme. Most of the country and region doesn't splatter the C-Word, and it's use in public chat in FF will end up being reported to the GMs - who are American... and will deal with it.

W-what will happen next?

I created an alt on Sophia and I am in the USA and I have to say very smooth performance for me thus far. It's trippy being on a brand new DC though where this like zero world economy right now on the MB.

My ping dropped by 110, but playing with Japan is so much more pleasant.

I'm not with ping over 200.
