Phobia only matters when the dev team says it does. Even if they're more concerned with far less common phobia than others.

I have a legit phobia for clowns irl. Things like IT or killer clowns arent among the ones I have legit panic attacks for, as they solely exist in fiction to be scary which makes them not scary to me.

My fear is an actual clown on a carnival or a party. I know exactly where my phobia stems from to as, as a kid, I was constantly harassed by one who made me the running joke in front of a big crowd of people. Clowns like that bring up an anxiety and I go in tears when one wants to approach me or even looks at me.

Even though it doesn't look like Kefka's face paint, I can at least now finally try doing a cosplay of him with one of my alts. :3

I never understood "IT". The original was hilarious, and the remake was just kind of silly. The clown itself wasn't scary. The things it turned into were.

That glamour's going to look amazing on my Femroe Warrior but not so much on my Elezen. The pumpkins are adorable and I'll be getting quite a few. Too bad they're no longer tradable.

I love this outfit. I am sorry I do love clowns.

Calcabrina and dolls such as Annabelle they do send my blood cold and scare me.

There's always a chance that just the nose will animate onto our races from the start... but I wouldn't bet on it. Will just have to want and see and be surprised if it does.

I doubt I'd use the outfit much, if at all (though I do like the pants and boots), but I hope that at the very least Hrothgar/Viera can use the new face paint option. Because why not. I also like the pumpkin lantern sets. Those are nice.

Hroths and Viera can use every face paint that currently exists, theres no real reason to assume it'll be any different for the clown paint.

Despite being "children's entertainers", it's typically children that have an issue with them. When you find adults that are scared of them, it typically stems from childhood trauma. At least, as far as anything I've read on the matter is concerned.
Also it's less that they're scary exactly and more that the makeup, especially if it over emphasizes a facial expression, and costumes that distort a normal body shape often push them into the uncanny valley. Add on to that discomfort them being exceptionally loud and exaggerated in their movements and you've got a good recipe for freaking out children.

If you watched it as a kid, it was very scary.
Also, maybe try reading the book instead of the movies made from it.
Rarely ever the movies out of King's books are scary, but the books sure as hell are.

Exactly. This is certainly gonna be the case and I'm mad. Like the hat is big enough to cover the ears but laziness probably took a toll again with this one.

Those are definitely cool pants! Though if you're looking for ones like it, have a look at the Genji hakama from O3S or the crafted Holy Rainbow sarouels. They're not exactly the same but would capture the same vibe.

The boots look like a free and less modern version of the Rebel boots which, while not exactly a gap in our glamour options, will be a good alternative when the others are out of a lot of people's price range.

The costume designer gets hooked on ideas sometimes, I think.

In a similar vein, both the Exarchic and Edenmorn caster outfits got the same kind of weird floppy top hat thing. I don't even know what they were aiming for - it's very strange and doesn't fit the vibe of the outfit, but it seems to have been a thing they liked.

The Clown boots are definitely similar to the Happiness boots but probably more useful, since the Happiness boots had undyeable red bits on them.

That said, you can't see the Happiness pants aren't full length if they're paired with the boots, so it doesn't really have the same look to them as this where you can see the cuffs. (Though even then it looks like you might have knee-length socks on under the boots.

I guess we don't have a huge range of mid-length unisex shorts at this point? Not that I can think of, anyway.

Not really into the clown outfit, but the little ghosts on the decor are cool.
