I agree with yall sqinx should compensate us for time lost because of the long que's I'm currently 5,211 in que and probably not going to get to play anymore tonight. my wife has almost finished he msq because " I am afraid if i get up and go afk I will get kicked off line and have to wait in a very long que" which she was right and for this reason it has made the game less enjoyable to play so yes we the warriors of light deserve to be compensated in some form
min cost without lagacy
12.99/30 = 43.3 a day!
43.3/ 25 = 01.8c per hour.
Assuming you sleep eat pooh
How many hours are you really not able to play.
Think about it this way.
You should ask for a 2c refund every time you run MSQ... no you don't because you watch netflix youtube or something else while doing it.
Do the same while fighting Login queue ultimate.

No? Assuming the standard $14.99 subscription and no other additions, it's something like .49 cents a day, rounded up to .50 for the sake of conversation. Double check your math because the answer you came to would mean a standard sub is over 30 dollars per month.
my que on ultros is 5008 in que
There is a global pandemic that makes production of chips difficult and thus getting new servers difficult. This has been told many times. Even airlines stopped refunding after few months into the pandemic, you can now only re-book at many cases, if you are lucky...
I am not sure about the refund policy but I think there is a playtime limit on it. So if you only played a few hours or day, you might be able to refund. But I suggest to stop playing then because it will decrease the chances of refund. As it is with food. You cannot refund something half eaten.
Perhaps they should have known that the pandemic is staying as long as it did (which, no one knew) and should have made it the way as wedding photographers do. Make it non-refundable prepayment. Its pretty common in many service areas to have services provided like that. But, I think they love their players too much to do that.
You can, if you find evidence that the food was not prepared properly, found something in the food that shouldn't be there, or that the food turned out to not be what you requested (especially in cases where you won't find out until you eaten the food).
Your suggestion on how to handle the payments also makes absolutely no sense, because game time is already prepaid, and, frankly, if the service provided by a wedding photographer is bad, they either end up having to refund the money, or they get sued (which I think would be hilarious if people sued Squeen over this, doubly so if Squeen actually lost).
A playfund, or a retime
You will lose any litigation or dispute based on the contract if you agreed on "no refunds" and it is clearly stated in the contract (This is to the wedding photographer example). Perhaps very specific cases as death could be an exception, but this also needs to be stated, if its not stated then someone don't have a proper legal check on their contract, which i assume STEAM would have. (Cause I bought the game through steam)
I agree that i did not consider your situations on the "food" example. However, on steam, I am familiar with this concept because I played other games where this happened *khm* no man's sky *khm*. There was a statement of how many day you CAN play up to until you can validate your refund. I am not sure about the mog station.
I am not saying you should not be upset if something is bad, but be reasonable, and IF you DO want a refund be mindful and don't play for weeks and then try to ask for it when you already finished the main story. (Again, not saying you shouldn't ask, its just a tip to yourself on what to consider if you DO ask).
All day Friday, 2002 error. All day today, 3001 error. I can't even join a queue. Definitely needs to be some time refunded. At this rate, not sure I'll even be able to play at all during Early Access or even normal launch.
Depending on how the "contract," if any, was worded, then the photographer would likely need to return their compensation if they failed to deliver the product, and, in various cases, they would still be subject to litigation if they could not procure the photos or if the photos were compromised due to shoddy workmanship. Even if the contract does state that they would be keeping their compensation in the event that they failed to deliver on what was promised, then it would simply be smart business ethics to compensate the wedding party, in good faith, for being unable to provide the service for a one-time event (even if they get remarried, the event generally cannot be "redone").
Besides, if a photographer had created a contract that was so incredibly disadvantageous to the wedding party as to deny the wedding party any return on their investment due to failed service for any and all reasons, chances are, they likely wouldn't remain in the business for long, as they would be viewed as scammers.
But the food example and the photographer's example are neither here nor there for service time in an online game. The truth is, Squeen has, historically, never compensated players for lost game time, and they're likely not going to do so for this issue, even if this extends further than the "early access" time frame. They just really are cheap like that.
not my first. i have been playing mmos back when ultima online came out. glitches, crashes and rubberbanding. yes, but at least you could get into the freaking game. when you are actually paying for it. a f2p or a b2p i can understand. the actual launch of a new mmo or the first expansion.
But this is the 4th or 5 expansion. depending on how you look at it.
Well the ques at around 8am are very low however I'm Pleading with Yoshie P to please fix these long que times as I'm sure many of us have to work through the week and will not get to play I for one don't get home till after 5pm so i wont get to play till the weekend at all that's 5 days of play time lost all so my wife "Skyayla' just brought up this point its going to get worse as of the 7th so every one get ready if they don't fix it
We got the free playtime credit. Better than nothing. Queues are still depressing though.
This game runs F2P mechanics and charges for inventory and MB space monthly. Instead of picking what might be the middle maybe start at the top and work your way down. Or if trolling start at the bottom and work your way up.. Peoples subs can easily be over 14.99 or as low as 7?
Fine, for the sake of argument let's go ahead and redo our math to accommodate retainers too. You can currently hire 7 additional retainers from the Mog Station. At two dollars each, that would bring the 30-day subscription up to $28.99 if you hired all seven and that still only comes out to 97 cents per day, which isn't "over a dollar". The only way to achieve a subscription where you're actually paying more than a dollar per day is if you have all seven retainers and the premium Companion App subscription, which finally brings you to about $1.13 per day. Slightly less if you pay every 90 or 180 days instead.
So congratulations I guess? You're correct if you look for an extreme outlier of a subscription.
I was... It work when the queue is not to bad like in the morning I was able to get my queue back in the afternoon/evening forget about it you are lucky even to reach the character selection.
I'm seeing a lot of people here saying they're getting into queues of 4,000+, I'm struggling to even get into a queue.
I get told the world is full, try again later, and then I can't attempt to log in for about a minute.
Then if I do get into a queue, it's only about 500-700, but even then, I get kicked before I can log in.
