Log in queues are not stable!

So, when you are sitting at 4192 in the que- and it counts down to 3780 after about 35 minutes... and then gives you a lobby error and disconnects you from the log in. And you log back into the game... and you get a lobby 2002 error -and you continue to experience this for the entire afternoon. ... although they THINK they have stabilized the log in - I would suggest that they have not really accomplished it. So lets see, out of early access - its now play time about 1 hour and 30 mins total time... login attempt time at least 12 hours. I am not calling that very good customer experience.

This time I made it to 773 and then booted. But re logging in system held my place and now at 703

I've been trying to login for 5 hours so far today. I've had my spot stolen 3 times so far due to lobby errors. Presently sitting at 1642 out of a 5500 queue. I got lobby errored AGAIN, even got a 20 second power outage, and somehow my spot has been kept, including having to relaunch the game an additional 4 times due to data center lobby errors.

I've been bamboozled so many times today, this queue means nothing to me if your spot can be randomly taken from you.

At 264 queue now. little bit scared

I was able to get in VERY early this morning for a while, then I had to log to do some errands.

Came back to a 5k que. Not unexcepted so I waited...

2002ed and got booted after making it to roughly 3500

Relogged

Back at 5300 spot

I have done this 3 more times since.

I get the large rush of people and the server strain, I do. However it feels...quite cheated when you wait and wait and wait only to get d/ced and have to reset your place in line.

As others have stated, surely there is a way you can save your spot if you d/c for less than 5min.

Not to mention that seemed to be the case this morning. I logged in to a 14 player que, got d/ced at place like 7 and then I came back in at place 7. So I think they have the ability to do so no?

Been trying to log in, over 3k queue. your in queue for 25 minutes and get an error and kicked. WTH

I came in at 4500 this morning at 11:30 and made it in at 2 or so after about 20 or so 2002's. It saved my spot every time and it sometimes took 5 tries to reconnect. Yesterday, though, it was completely random when I would reconnect. Took most of the afternoon and night to get on. I'm on PC

This isn't quite the "early access" experience I'd hoped for. I'm perfectly happy to wait my turn, but not when my turn disappears into the 2002 abyss repeatedly.

I expect a free month?
Because I cannot play the game im paying for?

Im on a PC too and this is not my current experience.

As I said I have been 2002ed roughly 8 times now and each time it has set me back sometimes further than when I first started the last que.

So something seems off for a large number of people because it seems like the whole "place saving" thing does not work for everyone.

I am also on pc and having trouble as you are. been trying for 8 hours . I am think It is a server issue with log in , but not sure. Error code 2002 ise code that is poping up

I started at 2700 in queue, got kicked with 2002 lobby error a few times but kept my place in line. Then I got to 94 in queue and got 2002 error. I logged back in and was 1 in queue for about 5 mins then another 2002 error. I log back in and now 6153 in queue. 2 hours of waiting for nothing.

12pm to 8pm

My entire day. I've spent it sitting at my laptop. Trying to beat the errors as they came.

5 minutes ago I finally got in. FINALLY.

15 seconds later I disconnected.

Nearly a 10k queue ahead of me.

I'm done.

Tried for 8 hour to log in to keep losing que due to 2002 error. Most people would of quit by now , but I know servers are being overloaded . due to volume of people and semi- conductor problems to get.

I was able to get on very early this morning. It took me 2 hours yesterday before I was finally able to get in. When I tried to log back in this afternoon I keep getting the 2002 error like everyone else. I've been trying to log back on for almost 5 hours now...

Are the free accounts still able to log in during this time too?

Pop over to the FTC's website and fill out a compliant form. It only takes a few minutes. I did it last night. Players in AU did this and their FTC type agency forced Bethesda to give refunds over Fallout 76. Players also did this in South Korea and their FTC type agency forced Blizzard to issue refunds over Diablo 3.

Enough people just have to complain so that it gets noticed and looked into.

I've been playing for 4 hours now and I'm ready to call it a night. I hope one of you gets my spot.

I would assume EVERYONE is "able to log in" but its just a matter of if you get lucky/unlucky enough to get d/ced along the way. This would be the same for free or paying accounts I would imagine.

Again this is not some spite from SE, this is just the predictable outcome of any launch day, high volume in a small time frame = problems.

However I would have hoped a simple thing like "saving place in que in case of a d/c" would have been prepared and thought of prior to this.

So everytime I get supper every night I'm gonna get kicked now cause I take an hour of time to you know enjoy myself. I tried putting a rubberband on my controller and it DID NOT WORK. I still got kicked even though my character was running into a wall/circle for an hour. Once again.... i'm not mad but like this is real annoying, imo. I just want to back to the amazing story and play more. I'm sure tons feel the same way as me.

And my spot was actually saved and I loged in at 3293 in que

Now the other times I relogged quickly as well but I dont know if it was immediate (since I had to get past the log screen boss a few times)

Perhaps its a case of if you can get back in your place QUICKLY (a 10-30sec perahps?) Or if you are at a certain threshold in the que (sub 4k?) that your place is or is more likely to be saved in the event of a d/c

Its random. All tonight I may have gotten back into que spot fast but I had a few times where the game would not be able to connect to the data center at all and then lose it.

it is not saving your place but it depends on how many have relogged after that server's queue was booted by the server safeguards.

I was able to play the game for a solid couple hours tonight and it was awesome! The queue was much shorter earlier in the day.

Now stuck in the 4k+ queue that keeps kicking me entirely out of the client. Shouldn't have logged out, I knew better.

The instability of the queue is so much more frustrating than just sitting waiting, particularly because it completely crashes out. Aaaaand like clockwork, while writing this, it crashed again.

See you guys back in game someday!.... maybe.

Pretty much wasted 8+ hours of my completely free saturday trying to log in. I wouldn't mind waiting on the queue if it didn't give me 2002 errors. I hope they actually address this in detail because it's a bit sad that all i got to play from early access was day one and couldn't do much progress as is due to finally loggin on later in the evening.

Checked in Leviathan and the queue is 6k+ at the moment by the time i'm writting this. I know I almost got in but was booted by the 3001 error and then the world was "full" for about 2 hours. By then, it was already too late and it was peak hours by then. This is a very rough start for sure- pretty depressing knowing how well shadowbringer's start was (in my opinion).

I have been trouble all day. Id log in and my queue was 4000 and Id wait 30 min. Then it kicked me out saying the connection to the server was bad

3001 Error. I can't even join a queue.

here to add that the "ticket system" or whatever that one person mentioned is not the case.

This afternoon I tried waiting out the queue, and about 5 times I waited and it errored and kicked me out, and when logging back in, it reset me back to the start of the queue of about 5k.

After 5 times of that happening, I got frustrated and said F this game, and stopped even bothering for the day.

My queue is consistently over 10,000. And I regularly get the Lobby kick. Game is beyond broken right now. Free Trials KILLED it for everyone.

I expected a login queue and I'm not surprised there is one right now. What's frustrated me today is the 2002 errors that keep happening while I'm in the queue. Sometimes it keeps my spot in the queue, but sometimes it doesn't. The end result is that I haven't been able to play today at all due to the 2002 errors that kept pushing to the back of longer and longer login queues.

I don't mind having to do something else while the queue ticks down during an expansion launch. I do mind having to babysit the game while waiting in the login queue to reconnect immediately when a 2002 error pops up for a chance to keep my spot in the queue.

Tried logging in again around 9:30AM UTC (Phoenix). Queue was 1900ish. Been 1,5 hours now, and Im still 138. No 2002 errors so far though.

atleast you guys can queue atm plagued with 3001 error been close to 3 hours now and wont even let me in the queue witch is like 70 on the server i'm apperantly visiting. tonberry is a right mess atm.

I am trying to login since Thursday's evening (after job) - it's absolutely pointless. I can live with queues with over 6000-7000 players but server is keeping kicking me from queue and sent me back to the end of the line. I managed to login only early morning yesterday and today but after just three hours (after doing some homework) queue became over 4000 players and after 10-15 mins of waiting it is not moving at all. It is pretty sad since I cannot play at all for four days already.

got consistent error 3001 today, yesterday works just fine, i got queue at 5k and able to wait for 1.5 hours just fine, not sure whats wrong today with their server

Looks like SE is giving us a free week for all the issues. More if it continues. That's something, anyway.
