Yeah, I didn't even notice I had lost post count in the first place. I literally can't even tell you how much I lost, and I have posted in that thread quite a bit in the past few years.

I do hope it's just getting washed and hasn't been set to pasture. Even though I posted in there sporadically.

Frankly if this is a case of deletion and not simply hiding it to scrub - it makes me question the moderation even more. No moderation is bad enough, but poor moderation can arguably be even worse.

I can only hope it was a mistake, if it was deleted; another thread got renamed to something weird, so perhaps it's some new community moderator who is still learning the ropes and messed up.

That thread has been around nearly as long as ARR has, and as you said - it's consistently active and with over 3k pages across all these years. To just delete that because of some trolls or w/e would be absolutely insane and tone-deaf.

I don't appreciate blind deletes without notice especially for a thread that went uninterrupted for so many years. And as much as I agree with the general sentiment of it and commiserating about some of the truly abysmal runs of faceroll casual content because of prima donnas, galaxy brained flower children, try hards, and super casuals. It's probably for the best. when I'd go in and peruse it occasionally; there would be weirdly toxic debating some banal things like which side twix is better.
That said, they should have locked it and left a message. Its hard to know what line was crossed that got it deleted if they don't at least tell us
