that phantom move is a bit odd to me
Bushin needs to be up to use it and it consumes a stack
it doesn't double up in bushin so it's weaker than Raiju procs and combo enders
is it something you use just in Aoe or when your bushin doesn't line up with Armor crush and Aeleon edge?

It looks like the Huton Ninjitsu is still present, even though there's no need for it unless you want it as part of a TCJ sequence, or to have it up before you move in.

The new ability is Huraijin, melee distance, 200 potency, applies Huton for 60 seconds, or adds 30 seconds if you have Huton already. (Huton duration reduced to 60 seconds)

I wish they had just extended Huton's duration to 30 minutes so we don't have to keep managing it so often.

you will still want to Huton pre fight
Huraijin is just QoL skill if someone pulls boss early or you Die and not have to waste mudras on reactivation

I'm just assuming Phantom Kamaitachi will just take the spot of shadowfang in the TA window since Shadowfang used a Bushin stack and Forked Raiju and Fleeting Raiju will just replace the gap left from losing assassinate. Otherwise I really don't see our rotation changing all the much aside from having little extra to do ouside TA

Spamming 5 Phantom Kamaitachi's (2750 total potency) is a lot better damage at range than wasting you Bushins on 5xThrowing Daggers and a Bhavacakra (1700/1800 potency). If you are going to be forced to throw daggers might as well make the Bunshins a 390 to 400 potency increase rather than a 190 to 200 potency increase

With the ranged attacks no longer interrupting combos, there may be a heavier focus on mechanics that force melee to temporarily disengage from the boss but its remain targetable. The best way to handle a 8s to 10s one of these might be Bushin->Phantomx3->Raijin->Forked Raiju -> Fleeting Raiju.

You cannot do this though. Bunshin gives you a buff that allows the use of 1 Phantom Kamaitchi in the Bunshin window. I was playing around with the same assumption that you could use it multiple times before I found out as well.

Huraijin also does 200 damage at melee range, so you can't use it to build your Huton before the fight starts. I assume it will fail if you don't have a target in range.

Oh I think you misunderstood. I was defending a one button version of Huton since it's a joke to apply and maintain at this point. So people thinking that changing it from a mudra to a single button press is removing complexity are kidding themselves.

^ Sadly, it's been a joke since Armor Crush (or, at the latest, the loss of Duality and Dancing Edge, in that Armor Crush then had fewer spaces for optimal use and required more thoughtful margining).
