How often do you use a Fantasia?

I keep Square Enix in business I fantasia so much.

Uuuh 12 or so? Could be more than that. Some of them were adjustments right after using a fantasia because I wanted to adjust the skin and/or haircolour, character height etc. I wished SE would give us a countdown of 2 minutes or so for free adjustments.

But I think I'm done now with fantasia. I yelled at SE because of the hairstyles - I don't use headgear - but my bunny is just perfect now. Love her :) Looking forward to the new hairstyles coming - keeping my hope up that they will finally add at least my mogstation styles and the ones that can be bought from MB and gold saucer. Sorry it's not the bunny mega thread, but I just couldn't resist :D

I've used 4 so far: one free one accidentally on an alt, one free one to change my main to a female hyur, another to change my main to a bunny-girl and I bought a three pack when they were on sale and used one because the bunny voice I chose had an aweful attack voice. Sucked I had to purchase and burn a Fantasia just to change my voice.

Lol, I did. I saved his appearance data and revived him as an alt later. I just felt like most female gear looked better and wanted to be cute for a while.

Though it's good to know he lives on, even if in alt form!

I used one once (my free one) not much after Heavensward.

While I liked my original character, once the story started to get better, I just couldn't take my character seriously in cutscenes.

It was a tough decision because I had used him since ARR launch and I get attached real easy to characters I create. When I first swapped to the female I made her appearance as close to his as I could and just called her his sister. Sadly I forgot to back up her data when I went through the bunnification process.

I've done it once to adjust my height. Beyond that I suppose I might consider using another if some new customization options for hrothgar are added to the game and there's something I really like in there.

With this games strong focus on story, changing my character now would just feel weird to me. I've got several friends that seem to go stir crazy if they don't change something at least once a month though, so to each their own.

Honestly tho sometimes I do get a bit of an urge to use one to change eye colors and such lol.

I really wish that was part of the barber :/.
I mean... It could easily be '' lore justified '' with colored lenses or something.
I don't think it needs a justification tho, it's just annoying that you can't change it without paying.

At least a couple of times a month, for a variety of reasons. It's usually to change a few things that should really be made available to the aesthetician.

I used a Fantasia just once to make my ears longer.

I change two times:

Cat ---> Lala (peer pressure^^) ---> Cat

Always M and allway with free fantasia

I have, sometimes I go a long while and then I get bored.

My original character from the alpha test did not port as well as I had liked and I felt I needed a change. Lots of customisation came along so I just stayed cat but fixed what I needed too.

I have been Aura and Hyur both are lovely. I like them all. After 11 years I do get bored especially at the Miqo'te hairstyles a lot are really ancient and the race is crying out for a new face and makeup etc.

I am not too bad I see some people changing daily on my server I could not do that lol

Used it once for something a surgeon could have done.

They got to give the aesthetician surgery capabilities <.<

Too often. I think at most I've been a couple months without using one, at worst I can go through a few a week.

I used to a lot, and it bothered me. I get kind of OCD with consistency when it comes to things like story, and the fact that I've race/job changed so frequently throughout the story wasn't setting well with me.

It actually bothers me enough that I recently started over on an alt, who will likely become my main when he's caught up.

Once in every few years I do.

In all forms except physical, I am an Ascian.

I used to use it a lot. I would change from a lala and quickly go back to a lala bc I missed being a cute potato. I leave it alone now since I know I’ll just go back to lala anyway. I have made other races in character creation for funsies/retainers but none have made me want to change my character.

I've used a fantasia pretty much once, when I decided I didn't like the Lalafel visual perspective and changed to my go-to standard of Miqo'te (not my current avatar on the forums). It was just hard to adapt to being 2-3 feet shorter than your normal Miqo'te in-game visually.

Every few months, usually, switching between Hyur and Hrothgar. Thinking I'll stick with Hrothgar until Endwalker though at the very least.

Not a single time.
I usually stick to the characters I create. The only thing I sometimes adjust are hairstyles or a little bit of the make-up ^^

Today I used fantasia for the first time, because I wanted to change a small detail on my character.
And right after I went to character creation, I just realized that the small detail was already effective. :D

So 7 € for nothing (well, I change my char voice, so not really nothing).

Just once.
To ascend to perfection.

It was achieved, no longer a necesity.

Many times... I keep going back to catgirl though

All of my characters exist in outside game roleplay (tabletop, IRC chat rooms, etc) so they all have set looks, personas, and appropriate Jobs. I've never used Fantasia on my Thighlander. The most I do is change her hair up here and there as I adjust her glams.

If I want a different perspective, I make alts.

The one time I did use Fantasia was to change a set of alts who are twins from Elezen to Viera.

I started this game as Cat girl.
Messed up the fantasia from MSQ..and ended up using fantasia without changing anything……I was so dumb.
Got 1 from heavensward’s pre-order, Changed to Dragongirl and here I am.
The reason I changed to Au Ra was, I dislike Cat girl’s jumping animation.
Au Ra ain’t perfect, of course, boobs are too small compare to other races but at least I’ve got pretty face.

Usually often, it's due to there not really being a race in the game I am fully satisfied with for a character. Still, I have specific presets, that I would usually switch back to when I did fantasia. Au Ra and viera are my favorite picks. Due to general limitations, I can't stick to viera. Au Ra is overall my favorite to play, and the race I switched immediately to when I bought HW - I started this game as a Hyur. I have had stints as miqo'te due to them having decent animations, being fairly easy to glamour, and I like their hempen top, but I don't like playing miqo'te much. Au Ra is simply better.

I doubt I will be buying any for the foreseeable future (yeah, I've said that a few times) since I haven't been playing the game much lately, and the money I have to spend on this triviality I need to spend on other things, like a new headset, PC parts, other things, etc., nor do I feel like wasting time on a survey app to pay for one. It's unnecessary. Right now I really feel like I should have just stuck with au ra to begin with, it would have saved me a few hundred dollars since HW. If I was going to waste money in a cash shop, there are other more substantial things I could get in this or other games.

Before i settled on male miqo'te a few years back i used to do it like every week or every other week. I'd buy em in bulk. My FC leader told me i was single handedly paying for the server upgrades. Now it's a lot more sparse. The last one i did was to change myself from moon cat to sun cat earlier this expansion.

When endwalker drops i'll probably buy another pack and play around with being a bunny boy for a bit. Not sure if i'll stay but i definitely want to give it a try.

Until Nine's hair from FF Type-0 became available i was just struggling to be satisfied with my character's appearance. This gave my head a nice silhouette which helped me stick with it.

Lately my character's appearance feels more anime than i care for (the spikey hair), and paired with the fact that male miqo look dopey in cutscenes, i'm looking for a change of pace. Not a huge fan of Hyur because humans in RPGs usually look too plain for my tastes. Elezen proportions are too awkward. Au Ra have this "bull in a china shop" vibe. Lalafell... And have never been a fan of bulky races like Roes.

Very seldomly. Outside of the freeby fantasia I get from the old Veteran Rewards program when I make new characters, fantasia costs money, so I usually commit to whatever appearance I make for characters.

I probably would be able to stick with cat boy if we could change default pose for all content, including cutscenes. The bent fingers and the bent tail look odd. The bent tail REALLY throws me. I wish their tail would hang straight instead of bending and curving right at the base. It makes it look like their tails are in the wrong spot with certain sets and makes clipping even more of an issue than usual.

I have not once used a fantasia. Still have the free one sitting on my retainer. I appreciate my character just the way he is and don't want to change a thing about him. The only appearance change I've ever made to him was changing the color of his face paint. However, that might change in Endwalker because the urge to be a bunny boy is strong.

Before Viera: about once every three months. After Viera? Never. After MALE Viera? Probably switch between this one and male every few months again. Ask again in Febreuary.

Unfortunately, I tend to use it when I have to change my eye color to match my hair... which is more frequent than it should be.

I can live with paying $10 to change my skin color or my race or sex... but I really have to fork over a Hamilton every time my girl wants to put in colored contacts? That's lame.

I’m the same; I haven’t changed my Paladin armor since 2.0. Small tweaks to the boots and gloves in 3.0..but I’ve been rocking my noob red armor and valentines skirt since they existed.

I mean I have fashion I play with, but this is my signature look.
