Soooo these relics... lets talk.

Let us change the colour of the glow, that is all.

I just finished the fancy christmas stick for my WHM and it's not bad, but not good either. I'll probably glamour my anima lux over it.
In my opinion, ShB finale relics are original, yes, but not desirable. That's sad but expected. People wanted an easy and cheap relic because grind = bad boo eureka, and we got exactly that, an easy and CHEAP relic.

The annoying thing about the DRG weap is that it'd actually look cool if it was just a spear imo without those side panels.
The side panels make it look like a big mace and unbalanced.

I'll get my 5th relic soon, and I can say without a doubt... I am mostly unimpressed. I particularly dislike the DRK relic weapon. I have to say overall the end result isn't really worth the grind prior.

I got my MNK now and it too looked slightly better in-game ( more glow at least ).
But I still don't like it and it still has the issue that the crystals look like paper, they just don't have much volume.
They'd be a lot cooler if the crystals were actually shaped like crystals instead of being so thin.

So.... something I just discovered.
For those who dislike the aura on the final version, there's a second version of the replica item without the aura. For those who don't want shiny blingy flower weapons.

I don't really like the final stage either. The Gunbreaker relic looks like a plastic nerf gun. Honestly the first stage (glowing version) is my favorite for most of these, but in order to get that glamour you have to do the whole thing. :(

I have cleared all relics at this point. I do have to say, I grow to like some of them but effectively I still favor the majority of Recollection & few Augmented Law Order phases. For a time being however I'll be running around using them for 'hype' before going back to my favorite glamours.

Recollection, is it? If I remember correctly you don't exactly have to clear up to last phase, just the phase after recollection was enough to unlock them on Regana for you to buy the Recollection Replicas @1000g. Besides, I think we could just put the actual recollection weapon in glamour dresser(?)

Hmm, you're right the glamour replicas have been unlocking after each step. I kind of assumed they didn't because of how the Anima weapons worked. Maybe I'll save myself a bit of time and just not finish this, but I did already come this far. Anyways, thanks for the heads up.

This relic has been pretty inoffensive except for one step. The one time step between loathsome memories and old artifacts. It had NO connection to bozja which felt like incredibly stupid design to me. I stopped doing my relic because of that step until they announced the final step was coming, so I finally picked it back up gritted my teeth and grinded out the FATEs/alliance raids to get it done. Then the next step was spam delubrum. By this point I’d done delubrum something like 100 times for the armour sets and was long since sick of running it. If I’d been working on my relic while I was at the point where I was actively doing delubrum I could have probably 3 or 4 relic’s worth of artifacts.

That ONE relic step that wasn’t connected to bozja single handedly ruined my flow with the relics and now I’m struggling to bring myself to finish one, let alone more. That step should never have existed and I hope they never do it again.
