To become Hokage.
I just recently started, so I guess...
...all the things? lol
But seriously, I’m taking my time leveling my first job, BLM, and doing literally every quest I come across and really enjoy the story. So far, I’m absolutely loving it!
If I actually catch up with the complete story and quests, then I’m going to pick a few other jobs to get to cap so I can Tank and Heal as well (I love playing all 3 roles, big reason why I came to this game).
From there, I’ll have to see. There’s a LOT I still don’t know about this game, like what endgame fully entails, collectibles to get, or even achievements, so it’ll likely be a mix of all of those and continuing to level Jobs until I get them all to cap.
I'd like to get Pteranodon mount but I most likely will not because I'm not good at expert crafting.
Let's see...
I would like to fulfill my expansion long goal of getting all the bicolor gemstone rewards. More than half done with this, just have the Crystarium and Eulmore rewards left to get.
I would also like to finish getting my crafters to 80. Mostly done with this also, CRP is 80 and the rest are 76 or 77.
Other than that, I will probably just get what combat jobs to 80 I can. I don't see myself finishing this one, too much tankxiety and healer anxiety always hold me back.
While it is your choice to do all the quests you come across, you will greatly out level the MSQ even just doing the main story. Adding the side-quests will just contribute to that. I personally recommend doing the side-quests on your second/third/etc job to give them EXP. But whatever you choose, just run things at your pace and hopefully enjoy the story.
Thank you for mentioning that!!!
I was actually just wondering about that last night, because I just hit lvl.40 BLM but in regards to the main Story quest, it's only at lvl.34... I wasn't sure if I was out-pacing it too much or if it was better that way, or, what... Yeah. lol!
I'll take your recommendation and focus more on the main story and follow-up more on all of the various side-quests only as needed to keep my level up with the Story, then circle back later with other jobs.
Thank you again for that nugget of knowledge! /bow
And yes, I'm greatly enjoying the story. To be honest, it's been a while since I've enjoyed a story this much, so it's turning out to be even more fun than I anticipated. Thoroughly enjoying the characters and the myriad places to travel too as well. ^_^
