Yeah it sucks. Kind of a shame they didn't do anything about it for 2 years but it was obvious judging how they missed out on every hairstyle thus far. Btw I'm not sure it's me but you look kinda sad on your avatar.

She could potentially show up in the story or have a set based on her or something, but yeah probably not.

I can't say I'm shocked, as much as I loved A2 in Automata she felt like kind of an afterthought, receiving a fraction of the screen/play time of 2B and 9S. I won't be surprised if she doesn't make it into this crossover.

They have said repeatedly that you will get hair, but it will be unique hair like you currently have ... not old hair and not hair that other races get.

Soooo ... IDK why people keep expecting them to change their mind on that and let new hair that other races get work on them.

A) Because they've said both things and done neither.

B) Same reason people still ask for male Viera and female Hrothgar despite them repeatedly saying they don't have the resources; they still want them regardless of what's been said. :)

What I love is when people think disappointment equates to being surprised and then school you on how you shouldn't be surprised.

Again I'm not surprised but I am disappointed. At this rate I'd be popping the champagne if we got access to one paid hairstyle even if I don't like it. That's how bad it is.

Grats to those who get to enjoy the Nier hairstyles. They do look really good.

I really like the original Nier series, so I am happy with anything related to it that they decide to give us in the YoRHa raids. I would have loved to get Devola's and Popola's hairstyles, specially since we are getting their outfit, but hey, nothing is perfect. Although I still hope for Emil's head too, we will see :)

I know it's partially because of the hype of a new race dying out, but I don't see nearly as many Viera around as when they were released, and I bet the dissatisfaction about hair/hat situation is playing a lot on that.

Dunno, but I'd defnitely wouldn't introduce a new race and be okay with that when it starts becoming "unpopular" due to the lack of standard features.

Everyone I know who switched said the lack of head options was the reason. Very little choice in headgear, very limited choice in hairstyles, no new hairstyles, if you're hrothgar you need to fantasia to change your hair, while watching the other races constantly get new hairstyles. It sucks.

And it's a shame because the new races are otherwise really cool.

2) There is a difference between wanting something that the devs haven't shut down and actively ignoring what they have said that shuts your desires down. You're not getting shared hairs, you will get unique hairs. Yall may not like that but it's not a shock at this point so there's no reason to expect that to change. Want the other hairs, take that potion and enjoy. You can be disappointed and still accept that thems the breaks and focus on what they actually did promise (unique hairs)

But it doesn't matter what I say, have fun.

And my point was they haven't actually done that either.

What does it matter what they say they will do when they don't follow through and actually do it?

I'm not sure why you're saying this to me, I still play Viera now almost 2 years later so obviously I've accepted "thems the breaks". :confused: But I don't need to focus on what they actually promised, they should focus on it and actually do it.

And until they do people will keep posting about it in situations like these where yet another hairstyle comes out, and they once again didn't receive one of these mystical "unique hairs".

So we can drop the narrative about anyone being shocked or surprised about it.

They haven't added anything since the start of 5.0, Viera players have every right to ask for customization, and that includes their own respective hairstyles. Also, why would anyone pay money to buy a Fantasia when their only job was to add what they promised but they couldn't even deliever the transparency of explaining why it doesn't work. There's only silence.

The hair is ok but it does look very similar to others already in the game, but it is the end of the raid series so I guess it was always going to be there.

It would have been nice to have longer styles added though as we only really have a few that are long.

I am wondering what the outfits will be I was hoping for A2's hair and outfit.

I'm not against 2B's hairstyle being added but it's kinda redundant imo considering there's already like ~3 hairstyles that already look like it (sans the headband). If anything, A2's would be glorious, but I'm not holding my breath since it's long.

I don't think its redundant since there isn't very many hair styles that cover most the face.
ones that do are either the karen hair style,rain maker or a racial locked one

Well, originally Devola was a bard and Popola a librarian; so maaaaaaaybe we could get the set for aiming and healing, but it could also be for casting... We'll find out very soon!

Yeah, that’s also a possibility! I assumed Anemone would be aiming (gun) and Dev/Pop would go to classes that tend to “twin” each other but it’s very possible they won’t follow that mold.

Looking on the 2nd image it looks like a aiming set. I wish they did not share as those look so bad on dancer lol. I would rather something that suits the job more. We shall see.

I could see Anemone's (second image) being a tank set too. She's, after all, the leader of the resistance and has access to multiple weapons... and on the other side, she'd fit into a gunbreaker as well as into a machinist... In any case, I can`t wait for Tuesday :)

It's interesting that the first two outfits are very character specific but the third feels very much in line with the "generic Nier Automata gear" we've been getting from the previous raids. Not saying it's going to be the case, but it almost feels like the first 2 outfits will be special drops like the 2B outfit from the first raid while the third is just an example of what we'll see in the Scouting or Striking gear. Based just on those pictures, I'd say that we're still getting a full run of the usual gear alongside the pair of non job locked cosmetic outfits.

Yeah...that was basically my thoughts as well. Hopefully it will pair nicely with the stubble I so desperately want to happen someday.
