You don't tend to see people requesting flat out 'everyone should wear everything' but gender locked gear is often criticized and they've been removing genderlocks on gear for a while now as they can.

You don't see people asking about racial gear very often but this is limited to starting sets and the appearance of hempen gear so it doesn't draw much attention.

Some of us have advocated for loosening glamour restrictions on non job specific gear like weapons/artifact sets etc. For example being able to glam an aiming set onto a fending set if you have jobs of both roles high enough etc. I don't think that idea tends to get much traction though.

Since we're going to the moon, wouldn't mind some more Metal gear revengeance style suits like the pvp shadowbringer sets.

Female Final Fantasy characters always get the coolest outfits in each game

Personally Id love to see more of the cloak and tunic sets for other classes, for healers a pure white set of robes with a caduceus insignia woven into the chest, maybe a Staff of Hermes , for a black mage, a gown and cloak set with a staff in fire patinas or a hood with a set of glowing eyes as the face part. Something spooky.

There are so very cool outfits for the male characters in FF. Firion, Minwu, Cecil, Kain, Fang Edge, Locke, Setzer, Sabin, Edgar, Cloud, (Most soldiers in general), Vincent, hell even Barret, Squall, Raijin, Auron, Jecht, Balthier, Snow, Caius, Yaag, Noctis, Nyx, so there are definitely some very cool outfits for males in FF games IMO. With that being said, It’s kind of ridiculous the ugly ass gear Male characters get In FFXIV though.

I love anything made by Tetsuya Nomura, maybe we could get some more of his designs in game for 6.0. If I had to pick a specific character, maybe give us Lulu's glam from FFX.

Ashe's from Final Fantasy XII; the FFXII glamour set wouldn't be complete without hers. But I have a feeling they're saving it for when we go to Dalmasca for Endwalker's relic step.

Get some Bravely Default I/II outfits, they pretty much cover the core classes. Vanguard/Berserker for Tanks, Gambler/Archer for Ranged, Bastion/WhiteMage for Healers, Thief/Beastmaster for Melee DPS, Phantom/Arcanist for Caster DPS, SalveMaker/Pictomancer for Crafter/Gatherer

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Aeris Aerith's original outfit design from FFVII.

The redesigns of her outfit in the Compilation and FFVII Remake are nice, but it's her original design I like the best (and considering her minion design in FFXIV is based directly on that, it shows even SE still considers it 'canon'), and it should go without saying to include her iconic Guard Stick weapon or the Umbrella as CNJ/WHM glamour. ;)

Maybe whenever the long rumoured FFVII crossover event occurs I hope...

I am a sucker for the designs of Edea and Ultimecia in FF8.

For SAM and MNK tho I want something demonic for SAM in the same vein as a lot of real Samurai armor ( but with a fantasy twist ) and for MNK I'd really love something like Lyse ( what she wears in the trailer and later ingame ).
Her attire almost feels a bit like a mix of DNC and MNK which I really love.

I think the thematic will be tied to the general theme of the content. So we'll have "Lunarian" whatever that implies, and themes tied to the 12,since that was implied to be the new raid content?

Maybe it's good to stick to the traditional looks though.

If the devs aren't too troubled by modern casual glam, maybe we can also get noctis's kingly raiment.

We can get non-traditional looks through all kinds of glamour combinations, so I'm completely fine with artifact gear going for the traditional look that's typical for a job.
And this will probably the first WHM set since AF1 that I actually like. Halfrobe style, classic white/ red, no weird sexy nun elements from what I can see and I can see this style working equally well on male and female chars. Open toe boots aren't my thing but that's what glamour is for. I just hope the back isn't too frilly... because that stuff on the sides looks suspiciously like frills.

Is the cat included in the BLM set? :D

Can I assume that the WOL’s set from the trailer is the new Paladin set? (This expac is based around IV, him NOT being a paladin would be weird) I do have a great fondness for armor that just sings out “STEEL.”

Yes it is! You can check it better (in-game engine) in the various trailers they did to show us some Endwalker locations.

I like those... But I wish WHM and RDM would dare to step a little outside of their boxes. Maybe too soon for RDM, but WHM always get a similar variation of the white and red robes. They could keep the color scheme, since it's pretty much iconic, but it would be great if it had a Thavnairian silhouette, for example.

I totally agree about WHM and RDM. Way too similar to previous armour sets. They should push the envelope a bit.

Since we are getting Anima as a Primal/Trial in 6.0 we need to get the manliest costume in any FF game (including the tatoo)

I agree with you, and im super excited to see what we get! i hope they increase the glamour wardrobe amount again- like i think they should just put it at 1000.
i also really want Ashelia's armor from FFXII. Kind of bummed that we haven't gotten it yet. Or Rinoa's armor set/Quistis, Rikku, Seifer, Lulu, Freya, Garnet, etc.
Since Shadowbringers was influenced by FFVIII I figured that we'd have more armor/glams sets in relation/inspired from ffviii... but nope! ... just the Dissidia version of Squalls outfit, rather than the original and that's not even SHB, its vet rewards.
