I just gave up on bots. SE clearly doesn't care enough so why should I?
Sure they ban bots, but the damage they've caused is already done by then.

Hmm, I usually sell my maps because they're just too much trouble to run given the rewards. If bots are buying them, I'll just delete or vendor them instead.

Se policy has been for 14 has always been let the game take damage from rmt and they will act after the fact. Nothing has changed since day one. It seems a little late to think it would change now. At least in 11 a gm would pop by and check on bots and do something actively about them. New world has some funny videos of people dealing with their bot infestation. -

As a huge fan of treasure maps and someone that runs them every week with my FC, seeing the bots buy up all the maps really sucks :(
