What is your main job at the moment?

Always Warrior.

Healer: White Mage and Astrologian.
Tank: Gunbreaker.
Physical DPS: Dancer.
Magical DPS: Red Mage.

I switch back and fro between these four. But the..., "most" main of them are White Mage and Astrologian, the ones I prioritize best gear for.

Former GNB but I'm raiding as Ninja this tier in my static and since I have already all the GNB-Archivements, I switched to WAR for dailys as well.

I'm playing BRD and MCH 90% of my time. Both are the most enjoyable classes for me :)

RDM, SMN, AST, DRK, PLD, NIN, MCH and BLU.

For me it depends what mood i'm in. but mainly play AsT, DnC, RdM and GnB. played alot SaM in SB but since SHB something feels off when i play it same was with RdM but i got the grove back by playing it alot but i cant play SaM for some reason

GNB, long awaited since the day I first saw Garleans wielding gunblades when I just began to play, which was in 2.16. Would've maining it no matter the role it would've been assigned to, but got lucky to have it as a Tank job, which is my preferred role, so good for me I guess.

Second job is BRD, but recently I'm growing on casters.

Black mage for the explosions. Warrior for the rage

PLD if tank. DNC if DPS. Because I like having more utility and hate being too restricted to the usual repetitiveness in every combat.

On the other hand I only heal as WHM, because I'm not particularly great as healer so SCH and AST just feel like WHMs with MP management issues and weaker healing.
Moreover the added complexity of SCH doesn't pay off. Unlike how I feel regarding PLD and DNC.

This is basically me with SCH...but mostly because I've only really used it for the job quests, and un-synced runs of dungeons for the Zeta weapon. Other than that...I really have never used it in any content. Maybe next expansion I will level it instead of SMN....after running some trust dungeons to get a feeling for it.

Started out as Dragoon, enjoyed it, but felt it was a bit slow and yes, Floor Tank is real. Switched over to Ninja at the end of Stormblood and have really enjoyed it ever since. Always something to do and it's so fluid and fast. Also enjoy AST and GNB as well if I am looking for quick queue times in DF.

I raid as a MCH but usually I'm playing WAR/DRK unless I'm too lazy to tank, then I just play whatever dps I feel like at the time

You'll always see me as RDM or NIN, however I am currently learning how to tank so you might spot me as DRK :p

Historically, in other games I've been a DPS or hybrid healer/DPS. Occasionally a pure healer. I've usually hated tanking.

In 1.x, I was a PLD for Reasons, and discovered that while I wasn't so fond of tanking (as usual up to that point), CNJ/WHM wasn't bad. And in the 2.x beta, I was an ARC (never made it to BRD). But since 2.x, I've been a WHM main; I started this incarnation as a conjurer, and I'll main WHM until the Eighth Umbral Calamity. Partly out of sheer stubbornness; in some ways I like AST better to play as a healer, but my character's a WHM in my head, and so a WHM main she shall remain.

But as for my secondary (and tertiary) job? That has changed pretty constantly.

For a while it was WHM and then RDM. Then WHM and DNC. Then I decided to play DRK because everyone gushed about the job storyline, and discovered that apparently I don't hate tanking any longer. So it was WHM, DNC, and DRK... and then I think I got frustrated with some of the tanks I ran into, so it became WHM, DRK, and DNC instead. Then WHM, DRK, and SAM. Then for a while I got into Eureka, and playing RDM in there constantly it became WHM, RDM, DRK. Then it became WHM, DRK, and MNK. Right now it's WHM, GNB, and MNK.

It'll probably change again... but WHM in the first slot will evidently be the one constant.

DNC, and unless the class gets seriously destroyed in 6.0 I'll likely remain as such. I like the aesthetics of it and its support themes, although I'd like it if they had more support skills. I also use Bard/Dancer in games whenever I have the option.

I usually switch between all my classes but am starting to play my Astro and WHM more than the rest as I’m having to heal more for my FC

It was WHM/MCH but got bored with WHM and moved on to AST

And MCH....hehe let’s just say the “rework” wasn’t a rework to me deleting half of the mechs for like 4 more OGCD isn’t fixing the job

Samurai here too ! And I'm thinking of dying all my gear sets red to take advantage of the title "... the Red" (from the Red Mage quest level 70). I hesitate between this and "... the True" with the true original dye for all my jobs for variety (curtana quest).

Edax, I have a suggestion for your death haiku. Haikus are 5-7-5 syllables so you need to lose one word, "the" in the first verse. Not only it becomes a true haiku, it also sounds better as far as I'm concerned ! Water is an uncountable noun in English. I'm French and I major in English; I also love poetry hence why your words stroke my soul so much. And congratulations both on the jobs and the haiku, both are commendable. I created an account on the forum just to tell you that. So here's my suggestion:

Raindrops on water;
All those moments will be lost;
Like tears in the rain.

When referring to the substance, yes. But it could also refer to a particular body of water, in which case "the" would be appropriate. I agree that it's unnecessary or even incorrect here though, since it isn't established which water is being talked about. (I don't have any advanced formal education in English and am not a native speaker, and although I've used the language for the past 25 years I could be wrong.)

I really like Healer, so my main job is white mage.
But recently, I practice Astrologian.

BLM, hands down.
I don't get to play it often, I'm always on AST for my static and on healer in general when doing roulettes with them, but I'm still very much a BLM at heart since I speed-leveled it to 80. If not for the surplus of caster mains in our static, I'd probably ditch healer in a heartbeat and go back to BLM.
AST is nice, I like DRG aswell, I occasionally mess around on GNB, I like the backflips on RDM and sometimes I'm on DNC for roulettes because Peloton, but none of them are my "main".

PLD for A Realm Reborn
SAM for Heavensward and Stormnlood
MCH for Shadowbringers

DNC/SCH. I switch between them as needed for PF.

For now? Somehow blue mage.

At the moment, Disc priest. I need engaging repeatable content again devs.....

I've loved BLM since mid-Stormblood, and I'm a bit sad that I never got to properly know how Enochian worked since I only had a month when I started before SB dropped.

Even if we get another caster and I end up loving that, BLM will be the job I always return to when I want to play what feels right.

frankly it's more a matter of 5-7-5 syllables than grammar, I am weak in grammar dude ! But I know a haiku's first line is five syllables and losing "the" doesn't kill the verse :)

I main summoner but also play healer Astro if I need to. Summoner my one and only love. Can’t wait to see what 6.0 has in store for us.

White Mage. For this tier, however, I switched to Astrologian just for a change. White Mage will always be my main, though.

Blue mage. It’s awesome.
