I can understand his concerns to an extent. Especially in a game where any and every character can be any job, having no holds barred with glamour would really muddy things up.
On the other hand, there are many other things a new player might be confused by that deserve dev attention more than how well randos look like they're sticking a role identity.
It’s gonna be a no from me. I actually just tried on the level 70 healer armor set and it straight up makes my character look like a Paladin. There’s enough armor in your category if you look for it. People will beg for healers to get plate and then still glam their bikini.
That being said I would absolutely welcome more plate looking options for healers going forward.
I would also like an Armor log or a simplified system like some people have stated that WoW has.
Exclusive gear aesthetics are one of the very few things that differentiate jobs now, so that's a no from me too.

Not sure why people think healers in armor is weird.
I honestly don't view with that amount of aggravation, since the interfaces of regular equipment and gamouring are completely different, plus glamouring is not a default feature, as you need to unlock it.
I agree with you that there are more urgent matters regarding the perception that new players have... Most likely a proper job tutorial at advanced levels. The game does an abysmal job at explaining things in the long run.
That's the model that started as striking/scouting gear for the Dusk Vigil set.

What with threads getting bumped willy-nilly left and right, I figured I'd do it for the sake of a cause I 100% support, consequences be damned...!
