My friend uses a mod that tuns the 2B outfit into that weathered shepherd's outfit you have to wear in the story when unlocking Ifrit for the first time... if I weren't on console I'd definitely have the same thing installed.

Don't stare then
Wait. The glam in this game twist children's views. So the world around them, literally all of the internet don't. Its just this game. Face it. They can see way worse in person or online anywhere. A video game character wearing leggings is nothing. Happens in alot of games ya know
make your own mmo rpg. i have to see a green half naked Roe every damn time i go to the mini cactpot dealer cuz he's been afk all day, every day, for at least 8 months. there is nothing i can do about it.
I don't see the issue. They are more covered than if they were wearing the bikinis in game. Do you want those removed too?
As for a streamer such as Asmongold or some other coming to the game new and what would they say? I don't care what they would have to say about this or any other game.
Easy Solution for you:
1. Uninstall the game
2. Cancel your subscription
3. Delete your account
4. ???
5. PROFIT!
Now you won't see these "problematic glamours" anymore. :)
No. Go back to bed, it's school night.
The base game is rated at T by esrb but each expansion carries its own rating and the disclaimer that online interactions are not rated and cannot be.
If you don't like seeing provocative outfits then I suggest joining a like minded Free Company and doing most content with them or playing on PC where I'm sure they have a mod for that.
Otherwise, welcome to Online?
Why do you keep bringing up some wow streamer?
If you are such a fan twitch is thataway? -------->
Asmongold is never coming to this game regardless of that because his fanbase would completely abandon him for it. If you want to play with him so badly, just go play WoW. I heard the new expansion is supposed to be pretty good and might actually redeem the story disaster that was BfA.
Game rating is T for teen.
Reasons listed being
Language
Sexual Themes
Partial Nudity
Use of Alcohol and Tobacco
Violence
Blood
If you purchased the game and cannot handle one of the items on that list then the issue is on you as a person and your options are to either deal with it or go play something else that your supposedly delicate little eyes can handle. None of those outfits classify as 18+ content. Hell they put actual children on TV wearing more provocative outfits than those in your image. Or you could go the route of trying to modify your personal game files so that certain pieces of equipment look differently on your own personal client. However you'll get no support from SE if this breaks your game.
Ultimately this is a YOU problem so find a solution that you can do instead of crying on here asking someone else to do it for you.
You also apparently forgot about the last little disclaimer that online interactions are not rated by the ESRB.
Have you ever been to the beach? This isn't that bad.
Since we're already on the topic of asinine suggestions, I want the option to toggle off Lalafell.
They ruin my immersion with their round potato faces, their shrill voices, their goofy emotes and their walking animation that looks like they have peg-legs.
Replace them with male Roegadyn in speedos or something.
Only if I can have a toggle for your hideous outfit.
While I frown at ERPs in MMORPGs and slutmogs and find them overall creepy, from the image you put, the only thing that comes close to slutty are the panties/bikinies. What's even degenerate about wearing shorts or pretty much the rest of clothes displayed?
Also, what you would ask is pretty much too much effort for little payoff. And if they didn't intend to offend people with those garments, they wouldn't have made them available to begin with.
You'll have to bear with it.
A lot of these could be mistaken for a 1 piece womans bathing suit, and thigh high boots. OP isnt making any sense
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL this was perfect man hahahahahahahaha
Also Asmongold in every thumbnail of every video ever ----> O_O "asmongold reacts to MPK's thread post on the FFXIV forums"
Why do people keep asking this? I wonder what kind of lives they live if they are offended by how people dress? I live in a big city. People wear all sorts of things and It never bothers me. Go to a gay club or something, get a life
Tbh, ERP doesn't really take any virginity either, so I'm pretty sure both ERPers and OP are on the same ground there.
The Final Fantasy series as a whole has ever had revealing outfits. If you are not a fan of this, you have not been paying attention.

You’re talking to the wind my friend
OP is the type of person who calls the cops when they see couples holding hands in public
Sorry, but no, I don't support this. Aside from the fact that what is questionable to one player may not be questionable to another. At the end of the day, this defeats the purpose of the glamour system.
Except that all these outfits are almost the same (which is boring in my opinion), I don't see any problems. I don't understand why some people are so eager to control someone else's appearance.
I want to express myself, and I want that expression to be visible to all. Putting my aesthetic on display is of the utmost importance, even if it includes my ass hanging out sometimes.
I either want my character's appearance to accurately reflect what kind of player I am, or to do the complete opposite for comedic effect.
Curiously this list only consists with skimpy ensembles that make perfect sense together. I see color coordination and cohesion... There's no "ridiculous frog suit" or "immersion breaking cook with 2h sword". So despite what they stated in the OP, the insatisfaction seems pointed towards a very specific thing.
edit: Didn't realize this is a new thread, but yeah still holds my point since it's the same person
Posting in a troll thread babyyy
Well, it clearly has nothing to do with "immersion breaking," and everything to do with censoring any notion of sexual expression of others in their outfit choices. Their goal would be to get their way, not to be intellectually honest, so expect manipulation tactics that such people think would be effective. Wanting such an option developed for the game is really just a veiled attempt to force one's own preferences onto others at the expense of equal expressive options. They want others to be discouraged from doing what they want at the risk of their outfit not being correctly represented to other players if they dare use clothes they don't like. Such people will choose self-serving authoritarianism over freedom & tolerance every time the opportunity presents itself to them.
Well he's pretending to be upset about skimpy glams in general, and the 2B bottoms in particular. But, he's trolling so he actually doesn't give a crap and is just trying to get a rise out of people. I was just trying to see if he would construct an actual argument. I'm wondering if a certain streamer is behind some of this trolling.
