If anyone deserves their own piece of item in the game, it's Rein. Game development information has been VITAL to keep me interested in playing this game, and Rein has made a major contribution in that area.

Maybe you don't understand the time it asks to do what Rein does. The info he provides are sometimes never translated by Community Reps so yes I need Rein's hard work and he deserves everyone to acknowledge it. An item is not necessary but it wouldn't hurt as well. The "Thank you" from Yoshida was really welcome and I think it strengthened Rein's will and comforted him in the idea of what he does is useful and needed. That's how I would feel.

To counter what that person from my server said... I have a little story.

RL was not going to good for a couple days & I was feeling frustrated with some goings on in-game. I was on the loadstone looking at the list of new blog entries and just happened to see Rein's latest one at the time (Sublimen Diaries February Edition). I laughed so hard I cried! Was exactly what I needed.

So I vote YES for this idea.

Regardless if we get it or not, I like the idea, Rein's hard work & his awesome blog posts! <3

Rein has been an amazing ambassador for the Non japanese speaking side of this community since as long as i can remember, and its been fantastic having his help around here understanding whats going on

i thoroughly agree, and iwish i knew sooner what server he was going to be on, cuz i would have joined his just to see that he wears a subligar every day

Is it NECESSARY to reward Rein with his own subligar for what he has done? NO. Does it hurt you at all in any way if they do? ALSO NO. Do I support giving Rein his own exclusive subligar with a big letter "R" on it? HELL YES!

I really appreciate Rein's translations and they keep me excited about the future of this game! It takes a lot of love for a game to put that much time in effort to doing what he does, and I appreciate it wholeheartedly. I say, we should be happy to give Rein a Subligar, nay, PRIVILEDGED! I like seeing people rewarded for their dedication! MMOs are about sharing your experience with others!

So I say YES to Rein's Subligar. I say YES to making them shine with burning loin fires of his devoted passion! Give him the subligar! Give them a glow effect! Enchant them with a pelvic thrust /emote that shoots hearts at people!

I think you misread what is being asked. The OP is asking for quest line or single quest that everyone can participate, but that somehow relates to Reinheart, either in the reward being a subligar or a quest themed in interpretation or translation.

You don't seem to understand what's being asked here. What we would like is a quest-based tribute to something in the community, that something just happens to be a someone who happens to be Reinheart.

Yes, I think it has a good chance of happening, too.

but I doubt it'd be anything more than a rare/ex pair of undies with an unique description tied to them. A quest would be a nice touch.

Finding Reinheart in a libary talking about the colorful Subligaria country and how he will give me a special subligar if I help him to finish his translations so he can finally go there would be epic *o*

I kind of doubt SE will do this though, they might be afraid other players will complain they aren't added as an NPC too.

Reinhart has done so much for the English speaking FFXIV community. He absolutely deserves some kind of recognition in-game. A mark he could leave on the game world, as opposed to just giving him a few neat swag items.

I full support a rare subligar named Reinhart, or a miscellaneous NPC as a nod toward him. Questline seems like a bit much.
