it's not topic about viruses or diseases. OP wants some answers about viera and krothgar customization, and there is official answer placed in one of developer's letters.

In short, we will not get male viera or female krothgar. Simultaneously there is no sign that we will get soon new customization options or hats for this races. Like it or not, it is the truth. Accept it, get over it. I would be happy to have a helmet or cool hat for my Francine. But I don't. So I just learned to live with it. I can express my hopes, that it is something that I really want to see in future, and try to convince developers that it's worth of resources and work, but it's really not that easy. Like there is much more important things to fix, that affects all playerbase (for example very little accesibility to house content in context of huge influx of players). Just accept what you have now, and try to play with it. Instead of demanding a answers, just try to show problem, tell why is it a problem, and present your solution.

Right there, a lot of tech companies have been used to WFH. Idk how they never foreseen staff working from home tbh. It doesn't take a pandemic to make sure your staff can stay home to work...

Also idk... remote desktop exists... it might be slower but hey at least they can do their work

This- I stopped playing Viera bc she can't use Y'shtola's hair or any good Hats. I just want good hairstyles + hats for Viera. I'd like good hairstyles in the future for all races like Gaia, Ryne or Garnet/ Tifa hair or Aerith/Rikku/ Lulu hair. All of those hairstyles have pretty little side-swept bangs & are loooong (except rikku) The dancer hair we got is okay I guess, it lacks anything to make it stand out, like an alternate version with side-swept bangs. I'm really sick of short hairstyles. Most are the weird, spikey anime ponytails or spikey emo bowl-cuts or mullets. I just don't want Viera to get crapped on with the new hairstyles- they need long hairstyles & if they do get a short hair, it needs to look like Mjrns hair- she had such a cute bob

During one of there letters or talks they even addressed this (although some of us were aware before addressing it outright).

It's harder to set up work from home places in Japan due to sizes of homes/apartments in Japan. There is a lot of people for not a lot of space (especially in the main/bigger cities which is where I'm sure a lot of the SE employees work for in Japan). So they have to find a way to make office space, than depending on protocols they might have to make sure it's a "closed off" space which would make the first point even harder.

Space in Japan is the reason why there is very little actually jobs that worked from home prior to this pandemic.... you know the pandemic NO one was ready for in any place around the world.

That being said had this not been happening I don't think we'd get any of the things we want until the next expansion and that's because a lot of the resources have gone to fixing ARR. Their letting us fly back there (unnecessary especially with two mount boosts, although those boosts are harder to obtain for alts because of allied seal issues) which they originally said when it was asked about back in Heavensward that it would never happen due to the massive undertaking it would require.

They went back on there word, sure, but that's to help streamline the other things they did. The next expansions is going to eliminate several quests in ARR to help make it easier for people to complete (since a lot of the quests made no sense and were in fact unnecessary) and flying will just speed up the process on the ones that do in fact remain.

While I haven't pored over them with a fine toothed comb myself I don't recall anything that made that statement. While I may not have been as rigorous there are many, many folks upset enough about this issue that if there was any sort of solid evidence of your claim that there would be a decent sized stink raised.

I don't think we'll see them soon. My suspicion is that we'll see the missing sexes in the next expansion. What we probably won't see are new races. That statement I do recall and why I think we got two half-finished races. However if I remember the timing right that statement was made before Yoshi-P was added to Square's board.

He didn't outright say "never" but he went as close to it as he could without saying it. He made it clear that implementation is not simply a matter of wanting to, or fans telling them enough times that they should. It is not something he is able to promise to do in future. There are limitations blocking them and they may never be able to overcome those limitations.

I'm aware of that, I'm basically just toying with semantics here. Bottom line, if it's already been decided they're not going to add mViera and fHroth regardless of whether they have the time, manpower, resources, and budget to do it, they could just say it rather than getting people's hopes up through passive aggressiveness.

Not gonna lie. I'd love some more viera hairs. I dont personally really care that much about hats, though I get why people do. I'd love it if we could at least have it so newly released hairs into the game also work for viera or hrothgars. Like the ones since 5.0. Like, I get making old stuff work would be prohibitive, but at least the new stuff before it goes out, make it work for them too? I mean, I know its not that hard to do...
