Those that dare to undercut me, risk the wrath that will destroy the market they hold dear.

I usually try to match the lowest price, unless it's something ridiculous like 2183 gil. in which case, I'll round it down to 2100 just because it's faster to type.
I like keeping my undercutting to a minimum just to keep prices from crashing. :1
And if I can get away with one gil, I'll do it. Frankly, it makes no difference to me how much someone undercuts as long as it's not something ridiculous like going from 1000 gil to 8 gil, and even then I learn to live with it. I should probably start being one of those people who buy insanely under-priced items and resell at a more appropriate price instead of going along with it like an idiot....
I have a friend that has far too much free time and gil on their hands that if someone undercuts them they go out of their way to crash the market anyway possible. When I asked them why they did it, they mentioned because it felt like they cut him in line.
The reasoning behind choices often confuse me, because gil has no real value to him, and it is a principle thing with him.
I don't care overly much how much my stuff sells for so long as it exits my inventory. To that end, I will undercut by 1000-20000 depending on the general value of the item
Oh it's this post again. I'll undercut by 1 gil from now on just in spite of this post.
