That doesn't mean a mod will take it down. If 10 people report them, possibly! But mods seem robotic when it comes to what counts as breaking the rules or not. Even by technicalities. "Rude post" for example is very ambiguous. "Blue is a weird hair color" for example. Someone with said blue hair could report. Am I in the wrong? No, but according to the rules... gods I spent too much time typing this.

Can a mod lock this thread instead of continuously giving the troll what he wants?

So long as the OP is operating within the confines of the terms of service there's no real need for him to be punished. If the moderators start to deal with people based on suspected trolling then that opens up a pretty nasty can of worms.

If there's a particular thread you dislike, just don't respond to it. By doing so you're giving any potential trolls the opportunity to get what they want - a reaction.

Throwing this out just to make it clear...

Scions didn't die until 2.0 and beyond. Only Garleans died in 1.0. A scion DID die BEFORE 1.0, but not during.

For clarification, 1.0 was BEFORE A Realm Reborn, so BEFORE the Calamity, so BEFORE things got better, so BEFORE Alphinaud was even a thing in the story. In fact, he was never even mentioned before 2.0.

Get your expansions straight please, so you don't confuse others.

I mean guys, you're letting a low quality troll succeed. I want my trolls to earn their notoriety not half arse it.
