I don't bother with Reddit for that very reason - any opinion that is contrary to the 'norm' has a habit of being down-voted even when it's presented in a perfectly civil manner. Hilariously, that site claims to be concerned about "vote manipulation" but is okay with posts being bombarded into oblivion because they disagree with its flock of sheep.

Honestly I really wish that they would either restrict the amount of threads someone can create per day/week or make sure that they get information when someone created a lot of threads in a short amount of time so that they can read over these threads and decide if these are genuie discussion threads or all of those horrible low bait troll threads that started up with that one person a bit ago..
