I'd like to see someone drinking from that tumbler you get from the CE.

I heard you couldn't drink from it due to the material it was made from.....or something of that sort.

People did not buy the CE know the game was gonna be so bad, that's my point. Most of the ones that bought it quit. The ones that are left played cause it was free and accepted that the game was good enough to pay for when it was time. Just because people are admitting they got screwed on the CE doesn't mean they are bashing the game.

Well, the Forums does that alot anyways, with or without CE so what difference does it make :P

My CE is the battleground for yoshidas troops (signed XIV CE and OST) vs the evil emperor tanaka and his trusted soldier XI! Got those goodies from my inteviews with both :D

Its hard to say FFXIV's CE was crap, its pretty much a standard video game CE.

Agree. Though personally I found it was one of the best CE's I've ever bought. (and best priced)
The regular edition was £30 and CE with everything it came with was £40.
£10 for everything extra was nice. (the security token alone made the extra £10 more than well spent due to the fact that SE NEVER had them in stock when I played FFXI)

Think I opened it once since release. Haven't even watched the DVD that came with it, and never used the book/map for anything. In hindsight, probably a huge waste of money (given that I stopped playing a couple of months after release and didn't return until Yoshida took over).

...At least the artwork looks nice D:
