Do all the new Vieras and Hrothgar just don't care?

I mean, a few hats here and there would be nice, but I join the 'don't normally wear helmets anyway' team. Have you seen how good horns look on Hrothgar? I don't think I'd ever use anything else anyways.

PS: Speaking only for myself, obviously.

Most of the hidden head gear looks fugly so I don't miss it.

The DRG helm I'm surprised they didn't have ready. It easily covers the face for both Hrothgar and Viera, it seems like it should have been working already. The Helm of Pressing Darkness already works on Hrothgar (sadly not Viera), so the basework is there at the least.

Since they already said that they will be adding more I don't feel the need to complain about it.
Would just be time wasted.

Besides, SE did say they will slowly add more :o

I changed back to cat over hats. My rabbit actually quite grew on me over a few weeks but so many of my glamours use hats that it's a bit of a deal breaker.

Also, fully agree with OP that new stuff created this expansion not working is a bit wtf, sure I understand old stuff needs a bit more time in the oven but I expected at least the newest raid and the AF gear to work.

This is how I feel and I don't wear 99% of the helmet, the only one I will miss is the red mage hat and the level 60 AF botanist hat. Other than that I'm content with my Viera

They actually did do it for Hrothgar, I'm pretty sure the new helmets work, or at least a few of them do. Viera only gets circlets, glasses, minor headgear, and I think that's how it will always be. I don't think they will ever actually get hats, or for that matter, helmets. I changed back to a miqo'te again for similar reasons, just to have the ability to have hats, etc. I don't usually use them, but I didn't really like the idea of it being limited.

I really like how mine (rava) looked, though viera tend to look exactly the same. Half the time I see a veena it blends in with all the others, and I mean exactly the same. Dark skinned Rava are much more unique.

There was a letter from producers (can't give a link, sory) that totaly explained the whole situation with headgear and gendrlock. The main line is that currently there is too much of the headgear to change for the new races and it will take some time. You just need to be patient about it. So just hold your breath and wait a bit. I assume that they will remove genderlock and make a headgear in the future patches. Besides if you want some headgear so badly - farm the Rak'tika dungeon. All gear out there fits to Viera and headgear is visible.

People definitely care, and in game I hear people complaining about it all the time. Only reason people right now does not complain more loudly in the forum is because it is confirmed that SE are working on this.

I have a bunny and I very much care. Want to try the Edda hair on my viera. Just figure there is nothing I can do but wait for devs.

I do have viera alt but i dont care really,like i even have helmets disabled on my Hyur and Miqote 90% of the time~
However they will be adding over time more hairstyles/headgear available to them so /shrug

I have my Peach Blossoms and my Classic Specs, I'm mostly happy, but they said they were working on it so why should I make it even more of an issue when I'm mostly happy with my choices?

Of course people will care but at least that part was told to us before the release so people had enough time to come to accept that. But there are also people who already wrote in different threads that they changed back because they are missing their head gear. I at least dont care much about that because I turn headgear invisible most of the time anyway.

The thing I care more about and that people discussed quite a bit too are the missing hairstyles and the general problem with Hrothgar and their manes. And that is something which I will wait for because SE said that at least Viera will get more of the old ones..but if they dont deliver on it then you can be sure that I will give my opinion on that again. But right now we sadly cant do much but wait and hope.

Sadly some horns are in really odd places for Viera, or I would go for a wolpertinger/jackalope look.

Hmm I care xD Was Viera, but change to my Roegadyn back.
I want to wear hats and helms. And im really really like, the new long hair style :) Vieras has no option for the manderville hair or the regular hair (why square?)

Must admit, I wear not often helms (not) xD, but for my future Dragoon....^^

I never wore helmets anyway so I do not care.

My feelings on the matter is I'm overall pleased. I knew that their head gear would be limited. Was I miffed when I found out that not even the job head gear was given models or that the eden head gear wasn't given models? Yes but I can also understand if those things were set in stone before release. However my expectations is that by 5.1 any new gear added going forward should be available for Hrothgar and Veira. I'm also expecting some current hairstyles be made available to them, and with that I also expect any new hairstyles added be available to "all" races.

I care more about the hairstyles than the headgear, as 90% of the head pieces I wear still work such as flowers, bows, and the aiming butterfly pin.

I really do miss my hats and hairstyles. But I have no interest in changing back to any other race. So now I just wait...

I've played since 2013 and I've always kept headgear hidden. So, yes, I don't care.

My only concern is hairstyles. I would take hrothgar hairstyles over helmets. Though I would like more masks like the mistbeard mask and thug mask to really go for that "captain Komumura" look from bleach.

Would imagine most people turn headgear off anyway. So no it probably doesn't bother a large number of people.

Not really missed the headgear that much, the way my Horns were on my Au Ru made most look daft so never had head slot shown.

My gripe is that I wish I had a straight back and posture, the gear looks so much better when I'm not hunched over all the time.

Only way around this is to /cpose and change in your settings to take effect in 1 second.

I wouldnt say i dont care. however i never used head gear that covered my head/hair alot. bigest head gear i used was... the Red Mage hat. Its a bit disapoting i cant use the new RDM hat but not that big of a deal as its really the only piece i really liked of the set and it cant be dyed owo sooo... mmm. For the most part iv only ever used small thing like glasses, flowers or the pvp mask i curtly have on(i was actually expecting to lose this mask tbh so happy it was part of the ones they added :D). And thev said there planing to add more in time. So in all with headgear im not super affected by the fact not all have a model for viera.

Hairstyle i would really like the ones iv unlocked back owo Particularly my Styled for Hire... i really hope this is added to both new races in time.
BUT i will say that i think Hrothgar got the short end of the stick when it comes to hair style by far. ...i mean there attached to their face option ;w; they cant even change there hair at all with out a fantasia. i mean at lest Viera players can change the hair XD

I'm currently set to the max wait time (30sec I think)... I will drop it to 1 and see what happens. Normally I just /cpose with my weapon drawn when standing still. Even have a macro to do it all for me lol

I just wish the horns didn't replace the ears. I like the way the horns themselves look on Hrothgar, but I thought not having ears looked too weird for me to use them.

No, I don't care. Got a problem with that? I never wore helms as a Roe, why would I want to now. Stop projecting your issues onto everyone else, they've already come out and said they're working in it, so just drop it.

I honestly dont really care they said they would work on things gradually and I'm patient.

i've never been into headgear so I don't really care.

Because its already been addressed.
And they are working on it.

Yeah, I'll side with those that say they do care. Some outfits are simply incomplete without the hats, especially when playing something like RDM.

I miss my matoya hat dearly. ;_;
