started at 2637 in queue, down to 1893 now.. waiting for the inevitable DC

exactly. their announcements about measures against RMT transactions are just words to act like they are doing something and reports against people using bots etc are a joke because they never do anything since they outsource security to a 3rd party that wont look into it until hours after the guilty parties have long stopped and there is no live proof. too lazy to check logs to see the evidence.. if my RL time requirements weren't as they are, i would go back to EQ2
And here I am trying to get back into Mateus 2,794 queue...ouch. Lol

These ques over 3000, how many people are actually on a server at a given time? For some reason I thought it was way less than that.

That response is as vague as you can get without just being entirely silent.
Yeah I was kicked out and was getting a 2002 error every time I tried to log back in about 15 mins ago. I just tried logging back in and I was able to connect however, I'm # 2,715 in the queue and waiting :mad:
I've tended to just ignore people when they post stuff like that. Honestly though I cant say whether or not I'm bummed out or happy. I was stuck in another Castrum Pop with per usual completely unready group which is kinda sad considering the one new player to the instance was doing dang good healing.
Literally 90k'ing me every cutscene i get into... cant enjoy the story.

I'm pretty forgiving, but getting off for dinner and coming back to a 2,700+ person queue is... mind-boggling. I struggle to believe to believe there are 2,700+ people on Famfrit at any given time.
Did it ever recover? I gave up and now maintenance is soon so hopefully it gets fixed.
