LOL, Common Isi, Give the boy a break. He doesn't know how to read back in the forums. :D

I actually ran out for the first time doing AFs and I didn't even do that many. Only 3/5 on 2 jobs. Admittedly, I do have a habit of using teleport when I could have used Return.
Usually I don't have any anima issues. I don't play often so its usually near full. I am glad of it when I do play though, I wouldn't want to spend most of my short playtime running from A to B. I'd get even less done than I do now.
Think we should look ahead at 2.0, with smaller zones and action packed landscapes, I think anima will go away whether we like it or not.
nothing of note to explore, yet.
When I have a friend asking if I could help with a quick quest/NM/dungeon, I don't want to run on chocoback for 30 mins just to get there, nevermind getting back from there.
Maybe I wouldn't want to use Anima if choco'-ing from Tranquil to Coerthas didn't look like a Tom-and-Jerry chase scene.
I haven't seen over 50 anima in months. My four year old teleports all over the place looking for "people to protect" as he calls it.
I am hoping they abolish the current anima system in favor of a teleportation system like ffxi. Before the ffxi complaints pour in... ffxi offered a means of earning gil, quests to go along with it. , restriction on travel based on class and job level. And who didnt love Warp II ing someone who pissed you off while they were distracted?
I "Liked!" you, because of the title and then took it back when I saw what actualy wrote.
Abolish anima, make teleports free!
- Allows to focus on content which you have not seen before, instead of seeying the same content over and over just for getting from point A to B. Your chocobo is too fast, you should get off it and smell the flowers and actually have the time to do so!
- Anima is pure discrimination. It's only there to annoy players who are loyal and play a lot! People who don't bother with the game will never be out of anima!
- Timesink mechanics are not content and should be banned from any good game!
Yes please, abolish Anima and give us unlimited teleports! ;D
Huehuehue
20-30mins run is little over exaggerated, and I wont tell them or you to run if they have anima. What I will tell you though is to manage your anima better, set favored locations, take turns teleporting, use chocobo if it takes 5mins. Clearly you or your group is doing something wrong if they have to put themselves in a position to chocobo to Mor Dhona from Limsa Lominsa. If they don't have Camp Brittlebark and Camp Revenant's Toll then its understandable.
But... if they were to charge gil. They should make it 10k per teleport, or make anima recharge 2x faster.
So is the OP suggesting this because he has no Anima left or because he wants to walk/chocobo everywhere ?
I like anima but I think it could do with some way to replenish it via quests or potions bought from the grand company or something.
If they abolished Anima I would rather they have a system where you could teleport between aertheryte nodes instead, which would require a quest to unlock each node similar to how FF11 did with outpost warping.
Wow not this thread again. It's like a gnat at a BBQ with this thread.
How does it ruin exploration if you have to travel to the crystal first to be able to tele to it? You can't explore somewhere you've already been.
If you get a tele from someone to get the point faster, who cares? Stop trying to impose this "grand journey" on other players.

Immersion is srs bidness.
Yes abolish anima please, but don't remove teleportation.
Instead of anima have teleports use gil, seals or a similar farmable currency.
Anima is a terrible mechanic as you never have enough when you need it and if you sit at cap any more anima gained is wasted.
The only way to gain anima is waiting for it and how exciting is that now?
With a currency such as gil or seals you can manage how much you are able to teleport youself by farming said currency.
How about not taking it away but instead adding a weekly quest for restoring some!
No no, you are playing a MMO, useless time sinks are expected! Not to mention that you're missing a great chance for exploration every time you teleport, and it takes like 30 minutes to do that trip.
If you can't spare extra 30 minutes of your day just to get into that battle, you probably should be playing single player games or WoW.
There really is no need to change it since it serves the purpose it was designed for. If people don't have a lot of time but want to enjoy the game they can use anima to save time, however yes for hardcore players they can use it as a means to go through content faster.
That's the price however to not alienate others from feeling they can't get a lot accomplished because with their limited play time they are having to run back to the same location x amount of times just so they can finish a quest.
The worlds too ugly right now to not use anima. I wouldn't mind if anima was killed off in 2.0 but even in the teaser maps they have aertherial gates so..
Um is this thread serious?? I conserve anima as much as possible but I have walked enough in this game. Maybe just the OP should protest anima by not using it
Where is the dislike button...Funny thing is I mentioned this weekend "I can't believe people want to get rid of anima" and lo and behold this thread rears its head again.
Have you done any of the job quests? If so, you should know how time consuming it is to get around without teleports.
Probably true.
5. Abolish anima and let us teleport freely if we have unlocked a teleport location
yes please!
I'm the biggest Anima fan since I hate to waste precious time traveling, but I agree that we shouldn't have been able to get teleported to places we haven't been, and that there are too many Aetherytes. Aetherytes might be better spaced out in 2.0.
This is the worst idea of all time. What argument is there for "please make it more difficult and time consuming to travel places"?
Anima is fine. At a rate of 6 per day, it allows people the ability to quick travel once in a while. Players who play a lot need to travel more on foot. It works out fine.
Feel free not to use them. Don't force me to play they way you want to play.
Actually a quest line to unlock a higher anima cap would be pretty cool, or an item to restore some.
But generally speaking planning your teles, running when its close, and appropriately setting your homepoint so you can return for free make the anima last a long time. Oh! and also tele as a group to split the cost helps a lot too.
I will agree on this if the environments was not constant copy/paste ugly trash.
