Think about that line though.
Extended use on your character. Then you change your character.

I am of the opinion that anything with both gender options (some don't have such), it should absolutely be exchangeable. But I also won't throw a fit about it because I know how these things be and SE likes money.

All the more reason to do something about it. If you think they are doing something wrong, tell them. You might change the game for the better.

Yeah, that was really poorly worded, sorry. I meant some races are locked out of certain outfits. You could see every race wearing Lightning gear, but you won't have that option with Hrothgars.

Granted, I wager this is more an oversight than necessarily greed. Regardless, the OP, and others in their position, want the full value of their purchase. Being told you must remain male or female otherwise said purchase is rendered item bloat until you switch back means they are inherently losing value.

It's a simple fix at the end of the day. The OP isn't asking for a refund. They want the equivalent outfit for their soon-to-be female character.

I created a new thread to support and move forward a petition to implement gear trade. Please, everyone, feel free to show your support there if you are in favour of this suggestion.

I'm going Hrothgar and have too many gendered items to remember but ... ehh?

I mean, it would be nice. But I normally buy Mog glam for ... other reasons. Like for the hair on this set or the boots from this set. rarely do I get something for the main part and it just ends up collecting dust cause I hate clipping and like being able to color gear.

So personally I don't care that much. If it's important to you then keep the glam, save it for a day in the future when you think you Might play a male again. That's what I'm doing.
But don't think of it as "wasted money" if you go Viera and can't get a return on your investment into male glam.
