DRK's Sustainability and suggestions

All it needs is to become single target healing effect, its perfectly fine in raids, Warrior's sustain and survivability is nice but in general it's a bit overrated (In raids at least).

It's fine if you gave DRK a small amount of sustainability, other tanks like Gunbreaker or even Paladin's sustain is a lot more fair in aoe situations and doesn't fully invalidate healers like Bloodwhetting does, Healers and tanks should be working together to sustain you and keep you up.

I don't really have trouble with DRK in dungeons outside of select dungeons in the lv 60 range, things like Bardam's Mettle come to mind.
The issue I see with it there is that there is no healing for DRK at all in its AOE rotation, and the tools DRK used to use at these level to survive were removed and replaced with nothing.

I really can't think of a way to fix level sync drk that doesn't lead to a slight buff in its endgame performance, but I'd very much like it if anything they did focused on the job below lv60 specifically.

I'd think of a few endwalker dungeons (the levelling ones mainly) where pulling is a lot more effort and you're way more dependent on your healer then any other tank, Not to say "Dark knight bad" because it's at a "ok" state in dungeons, I feel like the most recent dungeons are specifically designed so dark knights can get through them easily, so in general it has a effect where all tanks can basically sustain themselves enough in big pulls because theirs not enough out going damage really, I'd personally want tanks to be able to Pull more or the damage increased in big pulls, but in doing that you would need to slightly adjust dark knights and realistically dungeons are "meant" to be easy but one of the things I enjoyed about dungeons was the big pulls... which lately have been feeling lacking.

Not to say dark knight is weak defensively, in a lot of situations its the best tank in that regard, TBN does generally lose its value more in aoe compared to health restores and normal mitigations. Dark mind just doesn't work in aoe, I'd personally want a little more sustain on dark knight anyway besides that I feel like for the dark magic tank job it kind of makes sense if it drains hp from enemies, adding a bit of slow sustain to the job (instead of burst sustain like warrior), would be actually something that would suit it, I'm also in the opinion of dark knight needing to have a rework in the future, Mainly from The DPS rotation, but some defensives like Dark Mind could have more general uses, even though it's like the most meta tank right now not a lot of people are really happy about how it's designed.

I Don't think warriors style of self sustain is healthy for AOE. I also don't want DRK to copy blood whetting, but some sustain on the Job would be nice, wouldn't really make DRK super strong in Idk add some small sustain to oblation Imo or something just so dark has a bit more survivability, I think people make a good point that dark knight isn't really struggling right now, but that's because dungeons have now been under tuned to lessen pressure on the class, I don't think I'd be convinced that DRK vs any other tank, would win in a aoe situation.
