Please add the hairstyle back in, SE. :(

Replying to voice my disappointment with the others!

I've left another suggestion for SE and will continue to do so daily.

After missing the event last year and hearing that the hairstyle was on it's second year, I was hype for months for Make It Rain. Finally had time lined up to get it and it's not there, very disappointing.

Would prefer to see this in game, but if not I have no problem buying from the Mogstation since I missed the opportunity.

Let me tell you guys a story when the rainmaker was introduced in the game I could have gotten it everyone was wearing it but me and I felt a bit envious so I asked my fc where can I get this hairstyle because this was back when I didn't know much about the game news and was oblivious to events there response was silence so I asked them a couple hours later still no response I frustrated so I got off for the day got on the next day I asked them a third time where can I get that hairstyle they finally responded and told me it was from the event yesterday I was so mad to hear that I could have gotten that hairstyle if someone had said something sooner I stopped my sub after it ended and didn't even look at ff14 again until the shadowbringers trailer so I started looking at stuff for the game again and saw that the hairstyle I had let slip from under my fingers had came out again and I had missed it again so I started thinking that maybe I can get it in 2019 so on January 1 2019 I re-sub to the game enough to last until the make it rain event comes around I was so desperate to get this hairstyle I spend every single day on ff14 needlessly grinding every job in the game every single day in roulettes,potd and HoH and upon hearing the new thst the event was coming in a week I grew restless to the point I put the hairstyle as my background for everything I had gain an obsession for this hairstyle so Wednesday June 5 rolls around I stayed up until 3a.m. hoping to finally get my gands on this hair that maybe I could finally forgive myself for missing it all those years ago I get to the vendor after I completed the ridiculously easy quest I looked in the vendor and my heart sunk I looked in the vendor several times to make sure I wasn't seeing things the Rainmaker hairstyle I had let slip through my fingers and have been trying to get for years was gone my eyes started to water I instantly logged off got in my bed and started crying i didn't fall asleep mind you I sat in bed crying all night until the sunset and decided not again I was gonna make sure that through hell or high water I was gonna get the Rainmaker added back into the game in some form or fashion and I will not stop until my dream of this hairstyle being in the game has been achieved

B) Have the Rainmaker sold on the Mog Station for real currency. or C) Have the Rainmaker implemented as an obtainable item in the game such as a permanent item sold at the base vendors in the Gold Saucer or perhaps as the aesthetic reward from a potential new deep dungeon i.e. The Gyr albanian plait from HoH and the Samsonian locks from potd.

I'd say just leave it on the event vendor as a special perk for playing during the Campaign. Or give it to the Modern Aesthetics vendor, who currently has no purpose except to sell one hairstyle. Hell, give her the other Gold Saucer hairstyles too, give her a reason to exist.

Honestly I am just afraid they won't bring it back :( I don't think I mind how they make it available, I just want us to be able to purchase it on mog station or earn it in game. Please SE!

I think if it was put in a another pointless dungeoun thing as a prize it'd fetch too much on the market board for anyone to actually have it unless they were rich thusly an event exclusive item would do fine

Personally I would think as a company with the desire to make money, it should be in the mog station, obviously enough people to fill up 7 pages of replies is enough to say you would make the money for putting it in the mog station. However, it shouldn't have left to begin with. It's a specific hair style that was incorporated into the game for the event, why take it away? It doesn't make sense at all to remove a single thing from an event. Alas, I am unsure of WHY they did it, but they did it. So just put it on the mog station so we can throw many at it and be done with it instead of just annoying players with having it unavailable. Now the event isn't even worth doing, as that was the only real worthy while thing placed in the vent in the first place (In my opinion) no one except the super rich in game care about having games in their house, and you can work up to get whatever stuff you want on the vendor otherwise. That's like giving a coupon out to everyone and making it look like an event.

As from what I can see alot of people would be willing to buy the Rainmaker on the Mog Station. The only problem I see with this approach is that they would have to put it in a bundle since since all other hairstyles on the mog station come in outfit bundles. Which leads to the problem that the rainmaker has no associated outfit in the game for it and one would have to be made and since the rainmaker is the Type-0 hairstyle of Sice it would have to be her outfit. of course if they added this they'd need to make a male version too but since the rainmaker can be worn by both sexes it would have to be a dynamic outfit with male features for men and vice versa. of course they could always say f*** it and add it as a standalone item. of course this is me thinking what excuse they'd give to not put it on the mog station.

Fourth day of suggestions, I've been naming them Make it rain disappointment because that's what this event feels like with no Rainmaker.

Rainmaker is the only hairstyle I want that I don't have. As much as I hate to say this (and I REEEEEALLY hate it), I would buy it in the mog station. I would rather it be made available as part of the default list of hairstyles, but I know this will never happen.

When I originally looked up how to get it late last summer, everything I found about it gave the impression it was no longer obtainable and never would be. I resigned myself to never having it. Maybe I'll be fortunate and it will become available again somehow....

Still no reponse yet regarding the missing hairstyle huh? Sad days.

i don't think it will be added to the gold saucer, somebody did some digging and this item "as much as i want it" and i have missed it since my account was not active. along with the another were not listed for this. so its assumed they "might" be added to the mogstation.

but srsly i want it, i got it on a trial account on my ps4 but that's a trial account. i'm not going to pay for another account, i can hardly keep this one active for 2 months in a row.

There's always a first time for everything. The mog station had no emotes until they decided to add one, nothing prevents them from selling this hairstyle.

I would prefer to pay no more than $2.99 but I want it bad enough that I would pay up $7.

They should make it available on the vendor, but unlikely they can change it before the event is over even if they intend to.

Id pay about tree fiddy

I paid my subscription this month.

Personally I feel like if it's gonna be sold as a standalone item for a single character it would probably sell between the $4.99-$7.99 price range and if it's included in an outfit bundle ,like the rest of the hairstyles,then probably between $11.99-$17.99 depending on the quality of the outfit and wether it works for both sexes and changes appearance based on sex.

They should have added this for free well for MGP...I have the hair from the first time but it should be in for other players, not the mogshop

Sixth day of suggestions, I've come up with several theories as to why Rainmaker wasn't present this year and i'll list them from best case scenario to the worst one.The first is that they removed it from the event so that they can implement it somewhere else this can be from earning it in the game to mog station purchase to deciding to add it to the already present hairstyles in the CC do to a lack of created hairstyles for present races.The second is that it was actually supposed to be available for the event and someone f***ed up and it'll be available next year or are working on fixing it.The last theory and by far the worst is they straight up took it out of the game because they thought no one gives a s*** about it and nobody will ever get their hands on this hairstyle ever again.Though i'm hoping on the former theory rather then the ladder ones because things from the previous years aren't on sale at the vendor or the mog station which indicates they will be soon hopefully.

Seventh day of suggestions,wonder if we'll ever see Rainmaker again.

Somewhat unrelated but I remember somebody mentioning that the reason they removed the GATE "The Time of My Life" was because there would be no room for the new races on the stage. Maybe they didn't include the hairstyle in the MGP shop this year because it is likely incompatible with the new races too?

Eight day of suggestions, I refuse to give up on seeing this hairstyle becoming available again to everyone .

Wait. But even until now not all races were represented on stage. More than that, I was in situation when there was no my race on the stage, but was another one while there were no participants of that race. /thinks

They had a floating platform over the middle of the stage where the "extra" people would perform. Wasn't very easy to see, or very useful, but they were there.

this platform actually disappeared when GATE started, as far as I remember? So in fact you could see only races that were on stage.

No, the platform stayed and had the "missing" races on it (I think it had room for 4 NPCs, so two of the races would always be up there). You had to go on the edge of the stage and adjust your camera to see them, though. Not as easy as standing right infront of your dance-coach, put they were there.

Oh okay, thanks. I just saw that platform was, kind of, lifting up when GATE starts, but never paid attention to play with camera angle. Good to know something new. Not like it's useful now, though. XD

Ninth day of suggestions, I've taken up sending questions to the faq about Rainmaker and i'll start adding faq to my daily messages to SE about the situation on Rainmaker as i'm not gonna stop messaging until we get a response on the situation with Rainmaker. #RainmakerCampaign

Tenth day of suggestions, I got a reply from a GM today basically saying that if I have any concerns to share them on the forum,So I replied with there's already one and to read it along with any comments on videos reviewing the Make it rain 2019 to show that people want this item,I also heard they had planned for Gold Saucer content in 5.0 but got pushed back to 5.1 and I sincerely hope they add the hairstyle to the already present reward pool for everyone to obtain.

I wish I could give you mine because I don't want it.
